Hey guys. Who do you think is the better worker overall? Michaels or Benoit, not taking into account mic skills or charisma but simply in ring skills and match quality and overall workrate. I go with Benoit.

While Michaels would win on charisma and mic skills, Benoit wins on ring skills IMO.

Expect King Rated R IV to vote for Micheals. He worked his ass off in the 80's and 90's if your talking about work. By far the greatest wrestler in that time, well except Hart. Of course I'm gonna vote for Micheals, I would hate myself if I didn't. Never gave a specific time period, so I'm gonna go with me boy.

This question with Chris Benoit as an option is usually going to be pretty one sided. I can think of very few that would even come close to Benoit, and even less that I would consider better.

Shawn Michaels with ease. Shawn Michaels had more big and better matches, Chris Benoit's biggest match involved Shawn Michaels.
Chris Benoit was having good matches up until he died. But he stopped doing anything innovative several years before. The same can be said for Shawn Michaels, but HBK was at a higher level and had a personality to carry himself through.
Even if you base it on ring skills it's still HBK. I'm more impressed by great matches against less talented workers like Kevin Nash & Sid than great matches against brilliant workers like Eddie Guerrero & Bret Hart.

If you was to include Mic skills, Charisma & everything then Micheals would of won this poll with ease. going on just in ring skill i would have to say Benoit.

Benoit had really good matches with Kane, A-Train, Orlando Jordan, and also had some pretty decent matches with Sid. Along with having excellent matches with Triple H, Angle, Austin, Jericho. I agree though, Benoit's biggest match was probably against Michaels
