Things you should never do if you own a wrestling company
Let's try to come up with a list of things that are ALWAYS a bad idea if you own a wrestling company. These will mainly be booking decisions related to the product but there will also be other things included. We at WC have learned from wrestling history, and if we ever own a wrestling company, we sure as hell won't be doing shit like this:
1) Put the title on a celebrity (eg David Arquette in WCW).
2) Have a wrestler win a title his first night in the company or on a specific brand (eg Kofi Kingston winning the IC title on RAW), or alternatively their first night back from injury (eg. John Cena at Survivor Series 2008).
3) Have a wrestler retire/leave with a Championship (eg. Trish Stratus at Unforgiven 2006).
I'll be back with many more, and feel free to add your own, that's kind of the whole point of the thread. Also if you disagree with any of mine, or any of somebody elses', and feel that it can work in certain situations, say so. Like the Hall of Shame, I'll keep updating the main post with ones we seem to agree on.

Creative Control isnt always bad imo, provided the wrestler isnt only out for themself of course.
I think wrestlers should have a lot of input regarding their own character and such, but when a wrestler has as much power as Triple H it can only be bad. I probably phrased that badly.

I don't see the problem with either of these. When done right, both can work quite well.
I'd better provide examples......
2) Carlito winning the US title. Instant heel heat and credibility for Carlito by beating a hugely popular Cena.
3) Bryan Danielson winning the PWG title this past weekend. Now, the upcoming BoLA has a greater importance, and losing the title in such a fashion adds to Chris Hero's character.
