Wrestling Fans Are Stupid

I love making this thread on wrestling forums. This is not to bash anyone on this forum.

Have you ever noticed the fans in title matches? If the heel champion gets DQ then his opponent wins. The announcer states the winner. However the fans think the face is the new champion. They are cheering like crazy and are on their feet. Yet for some stupid reason they can't remember the rules and have to be reminded by the announcer. How many times have you seen this act of pure stupidity?

I have read articles of the THQ SVR team. They are true fans of wrestling or at least they claim to be. Yet for some dumbass reason for the past few years, they think TLC matches are won by pin fall.

Or maybe they're happy that their favorite won? When you're there live, you get caught up in the moment and you're a lot less smarky. It sounds like they just have fun. Good for them.

I'd say in general internet fans are more idiotic than the ones who go to shows and buy into such angles.

I hear what you are saying. I partly agree, but it seems stupid when people have been informed of this rule for many years.

That should tell you that they don't care at that moment then. People go to shows to have fun. They can worry about other things once they rewatch the event at home.

Agreed, it isn't much that they actually aren't informed of the rule, or are but forgot or anything like that. It's more that they are at a spectacle and think they just saw their favorite win a Championship, or whatever the situation might be. I, myself, question it a lot, because I don't remember being that......marky.......when I was a mark.

Also, how about instead of acting like jackasses because someone isn't as "educated" as you, you reason with him in a logical and sophisticated manner and educated him yourself.

Why does it matter so much? It draws the audience into thinking it. Maybe people don't actually think the titles changed. maybe they're just cheering because technically, Cena beat Orton or whatever.

Plus, that whole thing with the TLC being a pin, I never really cared that much. Just go play a ladder match and bring in tables and chairs. Same effect really.

This is minor but I hate when wrestlers look like the "botch" was on purpose and fans still chant "you fucked up". I can't think of a situation right now but I know when it happens it's annoying.

Anyway, to stay on topic for the first time in this thread:

I thought last night when CM Punk came out as Jeff Hardy and the fans went legit bonkers was pretty damn funny. No one was stupid since Punk did a damn good impression of Jeff, bt it brought the lol.

Anyone who thought that Punk was Hardy is an idiot. Jeff is gone. There was no reason to think it was Jeff. To make matters worst some people realized it was Punk but there were still some believing he was Jeff.
