This can go a lot of different ways. It can be when your favorite wrestler won the World title, or it could be a win over a wrestler in their specific match that they had no chance to win. Or it can even go into something like the win made the winner raise to stardum.
I have a few in my mind, but I'd like to see who WC thinks has the biggest victory of all time.
I'll be back with more, but Chris Benoit's win at Wrestlemania XX is an obvious choice for this considering it respresented the culmination of about 18 years of hard work, and he finally won the big one on the biggest possible stage. One of many minor disappointments stemming from the whole Benoit tragedy is that this moment won't be remembered the way it should be from now on.

That was one of my choices, but as you said, WWE is trying to get everyone forget about that moment so it loses value.
As an HBK mark, him winning the WWF Championship was a huge win for him and realistically, that win put HBK to a whole other level.
Thoughts on the Rock beating Hogan at Mania? It's big because Hogan pretty much past the torch that night, only for the Rock to bail.
When Goldberg's streak was broken? No....wait....I forgot that all possible potential was sucked out of it. I'd say HBK's win over Flair was pretty big. Not in the sense that HBK gained a lot from it, but the significance of it.

The biggest win would have to be either Hogan defeating Andre at WrestleMania 3 or Austin defeating HBK at WrestleMania 14. One had a huge impact on wrestling, the other had a huge impact on wrestling and WWE in general. Neither would've worked with different results.

On second thoughts, it's definitely Rey when he defeated Eddie in the ladder match at Summerslam 2005. I mean, it doesn't get bigger that winning the custody of your son and preventing him from going home with that horrible man Eddie Guerrero.
In kayfabe terms, that actually is the biggest. Kids > World Titles.

Cena over JBL at Wrestlemania 21 could be considered a HUGE win because that started the Cena era, and since he has become one of the biggest draws in WWE history.

It's nowhere near the biggest ever but at Mania 19 the Rock finally beating Austin at Mania in his third attempt after finisher after finisher was big.

That match had so much big match feel to it as well. "I remember the night before Austin's blood pressure was sky high and he was supposed to go to the hospital but wrestled instead.
Punk over Hardy in the LLT Cage Match is the biggest one of the year, imo.
I'd also say Benoit/Jericho over Hunter/Austin for the straps was enormous, considering what Benoit and Jericho had been through together until that point. The promo before the match says it all.

I'd say Jericho's title win that was reversed by HHH.
