When does watching Pro Wrestling become embarrassing??

Side note after this thread I wont be able to post for a considerable period of time.

At what age does watching pro wrestling become embarrassing?? Watching pro wrestling for the first time in a long time lately I have still felt residual embarrassment watching what 1000s of 4-10 year olds are chanting for?

Why is watching pro wrestling not like watching Barney? What age do you think watching it is embarrassing yourself?

I think I feel more embarrassed nowadays - especially when watching WWE - because I don't PG/PG-13 rated wrestling to be "interesting". The skits are too childish (which is what they're going for), but there's no more focus on wrestling then before. I honestly felt embarrassed last night and asked myself what the hell happened to DX and the rest of Raw. I think I picked a bad night to watch Raw for the first time in a while...

At least the Jets-Ravens game was close!

It's embarassing over the age of about 15 in that I wouldn't tell anybody I watched it unless they were a close friend, and I sure as hell wouldn't tell a female that I watch it. Although I believe it is more embarassing here in the UK than in the US to an extent, at the end of the day it is a kids show now.

My wife knew that I watched before we got married. She was happy as hell when I stopped watching it last year. But, getting back into it and watching TNA instead of WWE, I still felt embarrassed in telling her that I had begun watching it again.

Lmao... It's only 'embarrassing' if you give a fuck about what others think of your viewing habits and I do not.

Most people I know watch shitty ass reality television shows on VH1 and the like.. They are in NO position to tell me what embarrassing television is.

It's never embarrassing. It's entertainment.

I agree with Blitz, there is nothing embarrassing about liking wrestling. Well, I suppose if if you like ICP's Juggalo Championship Wrestling. I think it's more embarrassing to admit you like crap like Big Brother or America's Next Top Model.

So if you just met a girl at a party, you'd have no problem telling them that you watch wrestling?

I'd never want people to know about that until I know them very well. People are very judgmental ya know.

Yea well i barely tell some people that i watch wrestling unless they are friends who watch it as well. Whenever another person finds out they always eww you watch that crap? You know its all fake and planned out and im like yea okay w/e.
