Same concept as Steve's thread about wrestling phrases you commonly read online that annoy you. This thread is about tired wrestling debates which crop up on forums constantly, and frankly, you're just sick of. There are many examples of the same topics cropping up again and again on the IWC and the same points being made, and I'm sure you can think of some examples of this.
They could be general debates which also seem to take place, or they could be specific threads which always get made every few months.
For me the two main ones that spring to mind are:
1. The "is Cena a good wrestler" debate, with people still using the same points and counterpoints years after the argument started, especially the "real wrasslin" marks, who still come out of the woodwork now and again.
2. The old "who is the better Hardy" debate.
"Jeff is more exciting and draws more, Matt is boring".
"No Matt is actually a great wrestler, Hardy is just a spotmonkey who fans love for no reason. Matt is easily the more dependable and superior Hardy. Jeff sucks".
"Matt is solid at best. He can never put on the great matches Jeff does, and the reactions from the crowd show that Matt isn't very interesting".
"Jeff is only over because he does ridiculous spots and girls are attracted to him". *insert list of Matt Hardy matches*.
etc.

The Hardy debate usually has idiotic points like "no one cares about Matt Hardy" despite him being one of the most over guys on the roster. Quite tiring and hilarious.
The "Shelton Benjamin should be World champ" threads seem to be a monthly ritual.
I also get sick of seeing people constantly complain about which diva sucks and which doesn't despite them all doing 90% of the same stuff in 90% the same way.
Mainstream vs indy seems to arise whenever WWE marks can't stand to see other wrestling being rated higher than it. A lot of hilariously terrible and uninformed opinions based on next-to-nothing usually arise in those.
Also sick of seeing HHH debates. We are in 2009 and the guy still has people thinking he's great when he's just as limited as Kevin Nash and less charismatic.

"Does Kane Deserve One More Run" is one of the most annoying ones not named. No he doesn't. Not this month, next month, or the month after.
Edit: To be fair Steve, there are a lot of "WWE sucks, TNA/ROH are real wrestling!" marks that suck too.
Agreed, it goes both ways on that one. There are always fans who immediately rate something higher simply because it's an indy match too.
The Kane ones are ridiculous, as are the Shelton ones.
One of the most tedious debates I find is the argument that WWE isn't "wrestling", but "entertainment". What actually constitutes wrestling? I also hate it when someone says that a guy "isn't a good wrestler" but is "a good entertainer". What... the ....fuck.
I see Steve's point about the diva debate, but it's mainly about potential rather than what they do in the ring.
Obviously the WWE vs TNA debates are boring.
I also hate "WWE bastardized the ECW name". Lmao @ that one.

Any Chris Benoit debate (should he be in the HOF, should he get a DVD) and Most anything mentioning what TNA creative "needs" (TNA creative needs me!).

I hate when people mention Cena's 4 moves, and act like it's a horrible thing. Most of the guys only use about 4 or 5 moves of their own, then for the other moves they just do common ones. Gets annoying when someone brings it up.

No one on this board atleast thinks that way, the indy fanbase here aren't jackasses.
Definitely. One of the reasons I joined tbh.
For me:
1.) Montreal Screwjob (despite me usually participating in them >_>)
2.) CENA ONLY HAVE FIVE MUVEZ
3.) WWE vs TNA... though I only really see that on YouTube (and I'd hardly consider them "debates")
