So I'm watching Randy Orton vs Rey Mysterio at No Way Out 2006, and in the video package before the match I see a recap of the feud with Randy Orton coming up with such classic lines as:
"Why do you keep pointing to the sky when you're talking about Eddie Guerrero? Eddie ain't up there in heaven... he's down there... IN HELL!"
and
"Rey you've got about as much chance of beating me at No Way Out as Eddie Guerrero does of coming back to life".
I have to admit I lol'd hard at the 2nd one. I can't believe WWE actually had him say this stuff. I thought it was a line they'd never cross.
Anyway, it got me thinking, what are some of the worst taste storylines/angles/promos/anything else WWE or any other company have ever done?

The necrophilia angle comes to mind immediately. As if the angle wasn't bad enough, I heard an interview with Hunter where he said the whole time they were filming that, with Vince shouting instructions at Hunter who's inside the casket, there was a funeral service happening in the next room. The funeral director actually had to come in there and ask them to be quiet. God damn, Vince.

Yeah the Eddie death stuff is perhaps the worst. People will say "Eddie would have wanted the show to go on", but I'm pretty sure I've read stories about how he was strongly against death angles, spawning back from when AAA tried to turn Art Barr's death into an angle and he wanted nothing to do with it.

This for sure. I don't know what the hell the WWE were thinking when they decided to do that angle.
Eddie's one was pretty bad to & WWE did it so soon after his death which made it even worse.

The Randy one I get but this? Really? It's a woman moving on after two years... I don't see how it's bad except the way she was treated at the end.

The necrophilia angle was the disgust me that most than any angle in WWE history. I mean seriously, it was a horrible, distasteful angle, that put a bad taste in all our mouths and lodged in our brains. The horrors of Triple H dressing up as Kane, talking to a inanimate object known as Katie Vick, in a sexual, not caring manner, when her supposed body in the casket and so on. I seriously considered the show to be TV-MA for that angle because it's extremely disturbing, especially the "I screwed your brains out" moment, throwing parts of what was supposed to be the brain. How can these people sleep at night?

Big Show vs Bossman fued with shows dad dying was poop. I dont know if it was the angle or the way it was carried out but as previously stated.....poop. Also I dont ever want to see anyone, much less Mae Young, give birth to a hand again.
