Remember when WWE faced The Alliance in a 5 on 5 elimination match at Survivor Series 2001? Well suppose WWE and TNA were going to battle it out for pro wrestling supremacy, and each promotion had to choose 5 wrestlers for the match, which 5 would you choose from each promotion in order to make the match as good as it could possibly be?
Remember, it is not about the biggest names or who would pose the biggest threat in kayfabe terms, more about who would put on the best match. However, when I say "best match", you do have to factor in how the crowd would react etc, so don't just pick jobbers you like. I'm basically asking who are the 5 best wrestlers in each promotion taking everything that would affect the quality of the match into account (offence, selling, psychology, charisma, overness, overall excitement etc).
Should be fun....someone else go first.
EDIT: Ok you can do both, the strongest 5 on 5 in kayfabe terms and the one that would produce the best match

Booker T
Cena, Tista and Trips are the 3 most pushed guys in the company. The Undertaker is a legend and is seen as capable of defeating anybody, while Show is amazingly credible just because of his size and the way he destroys people. In TNA, Booker, Sting and Angle are constantly put over as some of the best ever, while AJ Styles is the young gun who they always praise and has carried the company in the past, and Samoa Joe is still described as an unstoppable force.
And now, in terms of which wrestlers would produce the best match:
WWE:
John Cena
The Undertaker
Chris Jericho
Jeff Hardy
Rey Mysterio
TNA:
AJ Styles
Kurt Angle
Alex Shelley
Chris Sabin
Samoa Joe
I think Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio would both be incredibly fun in this type of match. They are very over and great at getting the fans behind them, getting the hot tag etc, and have a lot of exciting high flying offence which would be awesome in a match like this. Same with the MCMG, they're just exciting to watch. Styles is the best wrestler in TNA, and Joe and Angle still make the cut despite being shells of their former selves (especially Joe). As for the rest of the WWE team, The Undertaker is great all round and has only got better with age, Cena is great to watch and would be awesome in this the way he flies around the ring, and Chris Jericho is the best in the world at what he does!

Note the lack of McTaker despite her ridiculous push.
I may have forgot someone from TNA but I don't think so. I know Alissa and Sarita have just debuted (yes I know Alissa was Saeed) but I couldn't think of anyone else and they both have a good reputation. Christy's push was pretty ridic. I guess you could throw in Taylor Wilde instead of one of them.
