I stumbled across this website by accident, but it's certainly worth a look. Clicking on the link takes you to literally thousands of WWF/E promotional shots (the pictures Wrestlers use for autographs mainly). The early-90's stuff is the best for me and brings up a lot of 'where are they now's' as well as a lot of laughs at some of the gimmicks Vince tried to get over.

If you put in Rex Lardner WWF into Google, the name pops up as Managing Editor for American Football Monthly. So maybe he was something to do with one of the Magazines? A very vague guess there.
Some classics in that other set too, Kevin Nash as Vinnie Vegas, Jean-Paul Levesque and Mick Foley as Cactus Jack Manson back in '91.
