So, what do you think of the womens division in WWE compared to TNA? Probably don't care about any of them, but meh.
As I've said, I can't watch TNA at all. It's a shame, because Victoria is there now, but...I can't.
I will say this-from the little TNA I've actually watched, it seems like they make a genuine effort with their women's division.
WWE women's division, with a few exceptions, is like Girls Gone Wild in a wrestling ring. Mickey, Maryse, and Beth can work. The rest of them , in my opinion, seem like interchangeable spokesmodels.

Meaner than a rattlesnake, tougher than shoe leather, more dangerous than a hollowed-eyed scorpion, middle-aged and crazy, crazy like a fox.
Rewatching a lot of old shows from my childhood, I'm reminded of how great of a talent the Barbarian (From Powers of Pain fame, not the John Nord) was at the time. Looking back, he put in a lot more effort than most of the big man of the era. I've come to the conclusion that not only should he have had some WWE World Title shots, but also been a champion for a short amount of time. When you look at the guys who were pushed to the top instead of him, you see a past his prime Sgt Slaughter, Zeus who couldn't work, Rick Rude who would flake out on the WWE, Mr. Perfect who would be hurt not long after his push and Andre who was well past his prime. With Heenan being his voice, I can't believe the WWE didn't see what potential the Barbarian had.
Would you agree or disagree? General thoughts on how far the Barbarian should of been pushed?

WWE is still WWE-you get 1 or 2 really good matches per show, but you have to fast forward through 2 hours of crap to get to them.
TNA? Can't do it.
ROH? Certainly has had their moments, but the stench of death is in the air. Pearce has also made some really baffling booking decisions.
Chikara isn't for everyone, and I'll readily admit it. If you're one of the people that gets it and likes it, there's well-written long term story lines. Also, the in-ring talent is clearly there.
If I've got a full tank of gas and a night to kill, I'm hoping Chikara is running that night. At least I know I'll leave happy.

I definitely agree that Barbarian should have been put in the World Title mix.
As a short term champion? Wny not? He could go in the ring, and he had the mouthpiece. He certainly had the work ethic, regardless of what gimmick he got stuck with.
On an unrelated note, if the Gulf War had never happened, I don't think Sarge would have gotten within 50 feet of the WWF belt.

Aside from Claudio's Passport Trouble in which case couldn't net him a WWE Developmental deal, which guys on the independent circuit now aka Chikara, ROH and even PWG do you think could get a contract with the WWE or TNA and turn out to be the next CM Punk, Samoa Joe of 05-06 or Evan Bourne?

Danielson? I love him, but no. It would break my heart to see him jobbing on ECW.
Tyler Black? Got the look, got the skills, needs work on the mike. He's a possibility.
Brodie Lee? Call me crazy, but I could see him getting a shot.
The Young Bucks? I'd say it's only a matter of time.

I agree completely. Had they kept the IC title around Von Erich, I could easily see Perfect being the heel in the WM 7 main event. Slaughter's main event push was just another example of Vinnie Mac trying to be controversial. In the end, Vince ended up having the worst WWE title match at WM up to that point. Meanwhile, you had Warrior once again stealing the show for the 3rd straight Mania which only makes the WWE look bad for taking the belt off of him.
Seeing how you've talked about Bruno a little in this thread, I would say that Bruno's feud with Randy Savage is one of the most unsung feuds of all time. Even past his prime, Bruno was fantastic in putting on good matches and Savage looked like the real star of the future. Not bad for a filler feud only to hold Savage over until Steamboat came back.
Being a fan of Bruno when you were young, what did you think of his brief comeback in 1986?
