No, I'm not talking about your favorite mark-out moment while watching on TV. I mean your favorite live experience. It could be a certain show, a certain match, or finally getting to meet one of your heroes.
For me, it has to be my first ever live wrestling show, a WWE house show and 'Superstars' taping. I think it was 1989. It was during Warrior's feud with Earthquake and Hogan's feud with Zeus (lol Zeus).
At the time, my favorite moment of the show was right after a Warrior squash. He was ambushed by Quake and ended up lying in a heap next to the guard rail on my side. I was a huge mark for him at the time so that just made my night.
Looking back on it though, my new favorite moment from that show was seeing The Colossal Connection (Andre & Haku w/Heenan) beat Demolition for the tag titles. It was rare to see Andre win a strap of any kind, and I'm glad I got to see it happen live.

SummerSlam 1992. It's probably one of only two shows that I can remember going to vividly. Probably because Insurrextion & Rebellion shows were crap and I had the video.

Mine's probably going and meeting AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. I've went to a few recent WWE shows like the draft that Vince blew up, went to Benoit's last match, but nothing compared to seeing AJ and Joe not even three inches away from me. Fun stuff, but I think when I go NoC it'll be better.
Last year, going to the TNA house show at Wembley Arena. Sad really, considering how adamant I am that TNA is terrible.
The first house show I went to in the hell on Earth that is Brentwood, Sussex was probably better overall. Better atmosphere (despite there only being a few thousand people) and LAX were there.
However, I've always wanted to see Kurt Angle live. Not only did he put on the undisputed match of the night against Jeff Jarrett, but he hit his moonsault. He never hits that fucking thing. I was there for something special.
Oh, and it remains the largest crowd in TNA history.
I know. Still doesn't validate TNA's claim that they're popular in the UK. It just goes to show how there's a hundred thousand wrestling-starved nerds that'll pay for anything.
My very first house show. It was WCW. Around, '99. I remember one match from that night. Hogan vs. Ric Flair. I remember that match mostly because Hogan grabbed Ric's tights and he accidently pulled them down. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. Back when I was visiting relatives in England, a few months ago, I got to see Raw. I had ringside seats and it was beyond amazing. The show itself, the atmosphere was in general probably the best thing i've experienced. I got to see the final Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho, and when Shawn jumped off the ladder, the crowd gasped, and when Chris cracked out the Walls of Jericho on the Taxi, I can't even describe how alluring it was. After that show, I got to meet Orton and Mickie, it was like a dream come true. I was talking to a security guard at the barrier, and I asked him to tell Jeff Hardy I said Hi, lol. We also watched ECW and Matt/Finaly was pretty damn entertaining to say the least. It was just good, you know, being there with thousands of people who all came to enjoy the same thing as you did, wrestling. I just find comfort in that, its weird. Oh, that and I got to see Regal win the Inc title, which was awesome because using hindsight, he had that feud with Punk.

My friend was at that show... Not sure how that's important or relevent but I felt the need to say it. Haha!!
The first time I saw wrestling live I got the tickets for free cos it wasn't a sell-out and I had connections with the company who sold the tickets for the show. Smackdown at the MEN Arena, the one when Carlito defended his newly acquired US Title against Rey Mysterio. I was with my girlfriend (who had got us the tickets) and she wasn't/isn't a wrestling fan, but always loved Mysterio, and so did I, so cheering him on was great fun.
Seeing ROH live at the Liverpool Olympia was amazing. Delerious vs. Mat "Evan Bourne" Sydal was great cos I'm a massive Delerious mark, and Joe vs. Nigel McGuiness headlined and was epic. Joe's speech after almost had me in tears. Also The Briscoes losing the Tag belts to Shingo and Doi was amazing.
TNA in the same place was fantastic to. I got to see Gail Kim live, tagging with Doug Williams against Kong and Storm. Wicked fun. Kurt Angle made a fantastic and empassioned speech, and I got to meet Joe, AJ and a bunch of others after.
But my favourite has to be Indypendence Day at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. I meet Nigel, The Briscoes, El Generico and most importantly De-Fucking-Lirious, who was totally in character the entire time while shilling his own merch, which was a feat. Plus all the wrestling was amazing and I was about a three feet away from the ring. Such a shame the turnout was shit and they'll likely never do it again... Mine was at my very first show in 2003. It was a Velocity and Smackdown taping. I remember getting into the arena and not nowing what to expect. It was my first time to a wrestling event and one of my first shows being watched on tv or not. Earlier in the show it was a John Cena vs. Angle rap battle and it was so funny. I remember the segment of Eddie Guerrero spraying Big Show with sewage. It was so funny at the time and Eddie's "We Lie, We Cheat, We Stealll" music was burned in my brain forever. I don't even remember the rest of the show lol. All I remember is that segment and Eddie's music. It will forever be burned in my memory.
