Other short wrestlers like Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit could still be marketed in what they were best at and still be seen as the best in the WWE for that category. Tazz no longer had anything to offer.
Depends, Royal Rumble 2000 proved that fans would've been into him. The match with Triple H shows that he would've been accepted in a world title match.

Bryan Clark - Now I know a couple of his early gimmicks didn't quite work ... But in WCW they found the perfect one in Wrath. The guy was a monster and was really starting to get over with the fans, but what does WCW do? They feed him to Goldberg who beats him so quickly and squashes any good run this guy could have gone on. He then joins ''Kronik'' with Brian Adams ... Once again these guys look like th Real Deal tag-team destorying people in WCW. That place folds and these guys go to WWE. One bad match (And it really was HORRIBLE) against Taker/Kane and these guys where finished for good.
D-Lo Brown - Use to love this guy in the Nation of domination, He had a bad attitude and got things done in the ring. But after the nation others had great success (The Rock, Farooq with APA, Kama Mustapha as the Godfather and even Mark Henry had a good run) But WWE used D-Lo Brown so badly as a Mid-carder that it became boring and eventually the guy got released..

They should have made D'Lo Brown the Undisputed Champion Of The Universe and Beyond simply based on how awesome his entrance was.

The British Bulldog - Yeah he was the IC champion and also a very good part of the Hart Foundation especially with Owen but as is the case with most british wrestlers that enter the WWE, he never got the Title even though he was outstanding.
Kane - Probably one of the most under rated big men in the WWE who still only has that short 24 hour reign as WWE champion {yes he was ECW champion but he's only held one of the main belts once} Still think he'd be very good in the World Title picture if they went back to how he was originally and was more menacing.
Now this one may seem a little strange but i think its fully justified.
Goldust - When he first came in as Goldust, he was weird and wacky but that all added to his great gimmick. Had some great feuds with the likes of HHH, Pillman and Piper and i believe he could of gone on and been a good and very strange WWE Champion but i think the way his gimmick was and is now, he'd never get beyond the IC belt.

Mysterio's gimmick is being an underdog. His height only helps him.
Quote:
He was only an inch shorter than Benoit or Angle.
And their gimmicks were just all around great pure wrestlers who could use that to get the best of anyone.
Quote:
None really had what you'd call a ''bad ass'' type gimmick. A suplex by him on one of them would've easily sorted that problem out.
But WWE were never going to allow him to do those moves.
Which is another example for why Tazz just didn't have what it took to make it. He wasn't able to be in his role that he was used to doing.

The Rumble proved that the fans could be into him for one night. I know I didn't take him serious when he fought Triple H. Especially when Trips was several inches taller? No way.

Rhino - ECW built this guy up to be a beast, just destorying people left and right and pushed the guy to the stars. The second he comes to the WWE, he is relegated to lower-mid card status then dropped. TNA really hasnt treated him much better either. He has had one world title run, that only lasted for a week, but ever since then he is still placed in that mid-card area with no real direction.
Perry Saturn - Another guy that could have been something, if it wasnt for a dumb gimmick. ECW was his stepping stone. WCW made him a viable talent. WWE ruined him.
Chris Jericho... Plagued by bad booking, Jericho has never broken through into that upper echelon of truely credible main eventers. Sure he's held World Titles, but his runs have been awful for the most part. A true waste of a stellar talent.

Don't really think you can include someone like Jericho in this list. He still is one of the biggest stars in the WWE today despite not being able to become a full time main eventer. He is still in the Mid-upper card position, has tons of charisma, great mic skills & produce some great matches & i'm sure could one day be a hall of famer.

But if they had given him a face title reign at the right time he could have been the next Rock. I think that despite what he has achieved in the business, he could have been a true star had he been booked correctly. He had all the tools to be the face of the company for years, yet for some reason they never gave him a face title run, and all his heel ones have sucked due to the horrible booking.
