So if we saw just about every wrestler on the WWE and TNA roster included in the "worst wrestler" thread, surely SOMEONE has to be good at their craft, right?
Otherwise I am not really sure what most of you are watching for if 90% of both rosters suck.
Rey has indeed been pretty great and would make my top 5 easily. I just prefer Cena and Jericho really. They usually do pretty well no matter who they are facing and draw me into their matches well. Rey is good though.
Rey has been fantastic all year. His contributions to the Rumble, the Raw Elimination Chamber and his matches with Jericho have all been absolutely stellar, and everything else has been good to great. The only problem I have with Rey is his inability to cut a promo without stumbling over his words every other sentence. He even stumbles over the spanish...
Jericho has also been great to a lesser extent, as have Christian and Swagger. Also AJ Styles is the reason I watch TNA every week.
Since the title says professional wrestling, rather than specific to WWE and TNA, I'll give a couple. Bryan Danielson, for obvious reasons. This isn't looking to be his best year, but I still think he's better than 90% of the wrestlers I've seen recently. He's already managed to put on a MOTYC, playing a big part in the fourway with Lynn, Tyler and Aries and has remained consistently great. There's only one match of his so far this year that I'd consider bad.
Davey Richards has also been on a huge roll, as of late. He was very entertaining early in the year, but now I'm reading reports that he's putting on the best matches every night.
