KENTA/Marvin is really nothing outside the first third.
I FINALLY got round to watching the Uppercut vs 1,000 holds match from KOT. Holy shit on a stick, that could very well be my MOTY right now, I'd certainly put it on the same level as Michaels/Undertaker. This is what I said at DVDR about it:
Quote:
Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Dave Taylor vs Johnny Saint, Mike Quackenbush, and Skayde - Chikara 3/28
YES. Holy smokes, this could just be my overall MOTY right now. Just 30 minutes of great wrestling with everyone matching up and deliverin. Taylor puts out his best performance in the KOT, even busting out a hurricana and being a lot of fun. Claudio/Quack rules as much as ever. Skayde moves like a guy half his age. But the thing that puts this over the top is the way they play on Danielson's ongoing leg injury (which was a theme throughout the KOT). Quack stomps on the leg and from there it IS ON. Loved the way Uppercut pretty much turned heel at that point and we got to see stuff like Danielson teeing off on Quack, Saint playing face in peril and Quack turning it up down the stretch. Great finish too, yeah this rules.
Easily Dragon's best performance this year, just a great match from top to bottom.
GO GO GO.
EDIT - I agree Shiozaki/Hero is also great and well worth anyone's time.
