Re: Give Me Some Stuff To Watch

So I've seen some the CHIKARA matches, particularly the Team Uppercut stuff. Very, very fun. The stuff with Grizzly in the Roughnecks match was hilarious, especially that two minute long "100 rotations" (speech marks because no crowd has ever counted it right) Giant Swing. The match against the Masters of 1000 Holds was some of the best chain wrestling I'd ever seen and it stayed fun for such a long time.

I also saw the Ibushi/Generico/Jackson/Jigsaw fourway, which was a very exciting spotfest.

You probably saw me a couple times during them and didn't recognize.

Front row by the time keeper's table. One night was a purple/black shirt, one night was FIST, and one night..don't remember, might have been Danielson. Wearing a black hat with a white X on it all three nights. Snappin' pictures and markin' and what not.

I'd recommend the Young Bucks vs Roderick Strong and Davey Richards from PWG's The Gentle Art of Making Enemies. It's my favorite tag match of the year thus far.
Just watched that now and it was one of the best tags I've seen this year. Davey and Roderick were practically killing the Young Bucks with kicks.

I think I liked the Wolves/Steenerico tag from MCM 2009 better, though.

Re: Give Me Some Stuff To Watch

The NRC/YB and the AW/Steenrico would have been in the same league had the finishto the Wolves/Steenrico did not suck balls. Try KENTA vs. anyone in big matches. His matches against Suzuki, Nakajima, and his recent bout against Akiyama kick a certain amount of ass.

That was quite terrible. Would've been **** if given a regular finish, imo.

I've seen the Nakajima matches. Very exciting stuff and probably the stiffest matches I've ever seen. It made me wonder why neither were coughing up blood during them.

Behind The 8 Ball- Shadow Phoenix vs. Gran Akuma
Were you sure about that? I thought it was pretty bad, tbh. Wasn't impressed by either guy, especially Akuma who seems to be the definition of uncharismatic, if that's a word. I don't think he even cracked a smile when he won or raised his arms. Just a really boring match up until the very end, when the crowd started to react a bit, I thought.

I saw QuackSaw vs Osirian Portal too, and that was very good. Probably the best CHIKARA match I've seen so far.

Re: Give Me Some Stuff To Watch

Hero/Shiozaki from the 6/4 NOAH show is a fun little match that's worth checking out.

I'd imagine KENTA/Marvin from the same show is pretty fun, but I couldn't watch it all the way through. I don't really like Ricky Marvin, which is kind of odd because you'd think that would keep me interested in the match to see KENTA kick his ass. Meh, whatever.
