I was going to do this with Trips but it probably wouldn't get as much of a response due to him not being as inexplicably popular as Edge. So yes, welcome to Steve Hating On Edge Thread #9million. I got bored whilest rewatching the Edge/Cena match from Backlash (lolyeah) and thought there must be atleast 50 wrestlers in the US alone who are better than him. So... considering I am talking about CURRENTLY, not an overall career perspective, and counting US workers only I managed to conclude that:

Jon Davis has a better attacking move than Edge, with a POUNCE!!! that could make Monty Brown cry. I dunno about being a better wrestler, though. His tags and squashes have been great, but I've yet to see how he'll do in singles.
I laughed when I saw Grizzly Redwood written, were you serious? The guy has a fun gimmick and the promos with Dragon are hilarious, but the "CHOP 'EM DOWN!" style of wrestling got old with me fast.
Yeah that's why I stuck Davis in the "maybe" pile, but he's looked better in tags and squashes than Edge has done in main events and a whole variety of other matches. Way better on offense easily, more intense and probably as much if not more personality.
Yeah lol I was serious with Grizzly. The guy is like the perfect undercard guy and his involvement in the Roughnecks/Uppercut match from KOT was better than anything I've seen from Edge since last year's Wrestlemania and even then there was a lot of other factors that made that match good to take into account besides Edge. I stuck him in the "maybe" pile also because I havent seen maybe as much of him and he hasn't had the spotlight Edge has had, which is fair enough.
For me personally, The Big Show is nowhere near the wrestler Edge is simply because Show is virtually incapable of producing entertaining matches for me unless its a stip or a multi-man match, whereas I am entertained by many Edge matches.

Haha I knew you would be the one to point out Showm but then again you liked the Backlash Cena/Edge match which I though was a festering dump whereas Cena/Show from earlier this year on Smackdown was like three times as good in a thrid the time. But there probably isn't any point divulging into that debate as we both know where we stand on it and I doubt either of us will change our minds.
Both Kofi and Haas have looked very good in TV matches as of late. The Kofi/Rey tags and stuff like Kofi/Miz were better TV matches than Edge puts out and Kofi looked great in the Money In The Bank, taking huge bumps, busting out crazy spots seemlessly. Almost a breakout performance from him there. Haas hasn't had the highlight but I thought he was great in the WGTT/PunkMorrison tag and certainly doesn't look bad the way Edge does a lot. He works a lot tougher and more intense and his offence is way better.
Yeah Swagger vs Christian from Febuary and hell the fued as a whole is better than anything Edge has done in YEARS. Swagger is just a good fucking wrestler.
