I was talking abot the No Mercy tag <.< so yeah, over six years ago.

Knowing that you're talking about the present, it makes a little more sense. A lot of it just seems like assumption though, and I still think you should've put him in the "probably" category. Edge vs. Kofi from Superstars was a pretty damn good TV match though.

Swagger is pretty obvious.

Jay Briscoe... not a fan.. haven't seen his recent work but I've not heard good things..

Really? Most people are pretty positive about Jay. It's Mark who is the awful spotmonkey who has no idea about selling (not that Jay's is flawless). Maybe you are thinking of him? Jay is a pretty solid singles wrestler and is usually really good in tags as long as they aren't going down the mindless spotfest route.

Everytime i hear a promo from either Briscoe i feel as if i've lost some brain cells so that doesnt help either in my book.

I knew Jay was BETTER but I never heard he was anywhere near great, aside from the near-squash cage match with him and Joe which was real good.

the last man standing match at backlash as well as the match at JD were both good, the LMS wads ****1/4 in my book nad that JD match is mildly underrated edge is awesome, swaggar is great with Christan that's it. also Batista is nowhere near being better than edge, he stinks in the rind. edge is top five in wwe atm.

Batista is extremely inconsistant but when he decides to give a shit he can be pretty great. For example, I would put Cena/Batista over Edge/Taker from last year's Summerslam any day of the week. Batista was arguably the best man in the Backlash 6-man tag, thought he played a realy good face-in-peril. But then again I didn't care for Edge/Cena in the slightest. I would say Batista's worst is as bad as Edge's worst, but his best is a lot better and more frequent.

I dunno about Batista being definitely better than Edge.

I find Edge puts on better matches more consistently than Big Dave. The way I view it, I'd rather watch an Edge match than a Batista match.

And I way prefer Edge on the mic and such than Batista. I'm not sure if we're taking mic skills and the likes into account in this or not though.

I'd probably question a few of the others on that list also.

I wasn't really taking things like mic work into account, moreso just ring work. Maybe Batista in the "definately" pile is a bit over-zealous but then again I see it the other way round with Batista putting on good matches more frequently than Edge, even if both can be hugely tedious at the same time.

Edge is very good in gimmick matches but struggles to have a good 'wrestling match' with people that arent of a high working level. Edge could have great matches with Matt Hardy, John Cena, Rey Mysterio and the Undertaker if you like 1001 counters but cant with guys not of that elite working level. Is Edge a bad wrestler? No. Is her a great one? Not close. He can have great matches but he is a fair wrestler who needs support. But by the same tokan so do a lot of main eventers, and they dont have the gimmick match ability like Edge.
