What else has he done or are we going to factor in stuff that doesn't actually exist. He also had two good matches with Matt Hardy in January, plus a good match with Cena and he's looked decent in tags too.
I ask because the most common example used is his feud with Christian. Did you ever think that Christian is the one responsible for the quality and Swagger is along for the ride? I'm fairly sure you have even agreed that a great wrestler can makes others look just as good. All im saying is you cant base his quality on one oppoent who could easily be doing the work for both.

How is Edge better than ANYONE at getting heat? Seriously, this guy was getting face heat in a fued ender with the Undertaker. That isn't supposed to happen to the top heel in a company.
Meh the babyface reaction if any...was small. Yes as far as a heel goes it is bad to get a babyface reaction. But MOST of the time when Edge performs he could throw his arms up and get majority of the arena,stadium or where ever to boo him. Swagger smiles and places his arms out in arrogrant fashion and rarley gets a reaction...unless he is facing an established well over talent such as Christian.
My favorite 2009 match before Michaels and Taker happened was Michaels and Cena from Raw.

This is fair, though Swagger has obviously been a big factor in the greatnes of the fued. I think both men have contributed pretty equally to it. Swagger brought plenty to the matches.

The only time I can recall Edge getting heel heat this year was against Hardy or against Steamboat in a tag match, he was getting face heat for most of the Chamber at NWO and against Jericho and countless other times. Something small like Swagger smiling after throwing Christian over the top rope at Backlash got pretty big heat.

The main problem with that is that Edge has faced the best in the business.

Yeah it's hardly like anyone can really make excuses for Edge, and I'm trying to be as unbiased as I can be but when you get TV and PPV main events, matches of varying lengths and scenarios, and borderline super-workers like John Cena and Undertaker for opponents and you produce nothing of value (talking about Backlash rematch with Taker rather than Wrestlemania, that was good) then you are really open to criticism.

Well actually looking back...as far as this year goes. Cheers for Edge have been heard from the audience more then normal then the previous years. I do admit and even agree with you on that. But those cheers for the most part where out showered with boos...with the exception from when they were in London a few weeks back. I don't know as I have said unless Swagger is facing off against an over and established guy..he rarely gets any heat. Now Tommy Dreamer and Finlay are both popular....Matt Hardy was over as a face. But during the matches he had with those 3...the reactions he got where so small that it isn't even funny. Over the last few weeks..when he has cut promos...the audience didn't seem to really give a damn about him. When Christian made a surpirse return a while back...he cut a promo..and nobody cared what he was talking about untill Christian came out. Edge for the most part can cut a promo and just make pretty much almost everybody in the arena to boo the hell out of him. His logic of cheers with Cena only happen because of anti-Cena fans. The chamber was a surprise victory..so it was pretty much expected that people where going to cheer for that. WrestleMania, again it bolied more down to Cena haters more so then Edge fans in my opinion.

I think the most questionable one is The Miz, just because of where you placed him. If you put him in the "probably" category, I wouldn't have brought this up. I am a Miz fan, and I think he has been awesome on the mic since he came to Raw, but I'm having a hard time thinking of any good matches he has had. I remember his match with Punk being decent, but that's it. I don't know if you were bringing him up as having good tag matches, because even there, I think Edge beats him. Edge was involved in my favorite Tag match of all time.

Remember, I am talking about currently, not overall careers so I asumme you are talking about either the RKO/DX tag or Edge & Rey vs Benoit & Angle? All of which happened atleast 3 years ago. Was Miz even in the WWE back then?
Miz hasn't been put into the position to have any great matches or anything, but you put a 10 minute Miz TV match next to a 10 minute Edge TV match and the Miz match will be better. Even small 15 minutes matches like Miz vs Primo, Miz vs Kofi and the Colons/Bourne vs Miz/Morrison/Kid 6-man were better than pretty much anything Edge has done this year. He's a way better heel, way better. And he works pretty stiff and is way better at offence and controlling match. It's a difficult one to compare but I can't really see a case for Edge there.
