Does anyone on this forum remember Sean Royal (heel) from the New Breed, or Ricky Nelson (jobber). They were both from old NWA, late 1980s and early 1990s ?
I remember The New Breed because they were pretty innovative and I've seen them wrestle live before. Royal's partner Chris Champion came back to WCW as Yoshi Kwan. To be honest I don't really remember Ricky Nelson from back then but I've seen him wrestle live maybe 3 or 4 times now. He runs NWA affiliate, Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. The website for his company is midatlanticwrestlingDOTcom (I'm new here so I'm not allowed to post links yet).
Ricky Nelson was a great jobber back in the late 1980's. He wrestled for NWA, got beaten up on TV every Saturday morning, never won any match that I ever saw, but he had a good attitude, & was always back the following week for more punishment. I lost track of him soon after, but he's apparently stayed involved with wrestling, done quite well, like you mentioned above he's an administrator now for Mid-Atlantic wrestling. He was a classic jobber back in those days, though.
Sean Royal of the New Breed was a tough young heel on the New Breed . He appeared on Saturday morning NWA TV wrestling, too, a few times, back in those days. He was big, but had great athletic ability for his size. I wonder what's become of him.
