Danielson vs Swagger? To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Dream matches has really become run of the mill nowadays eh?
Admittedly, dream match might have been overstating. The match would still be good though.
The reality of this is that we're not going to have the incredible wrestler that was Dragon anymore, especially if he fails. It would just be time wasted. I'm happy that he reached his goal, if it was and especially that he can earn a little money. But the selfish fan in me isn't happy and for good reason.
I understand the selfish fan in you. Part of me feels the same way, but most of me feels like he can do some good in the WWE and the WWE can do some good for him. I realize that part of me might be foolishly optomistic, but I'd rather be hopeful of his WWE run than assume it's going to be shit.
Even considering the limitations that the WWE will put on his ring style, he's still going to work head and shoulders above most in the company. I'm just banking on his ability to make himself marketable and to get himself over with creative. Considering how entertaining he has shown himself to be out of the ring, I don't see that being a problem.
James Gibson is a great example to not be happy that Dragon is signed.
James Gibson is a pipsqueak with respect for the look that the WWE usually creams over. Danielson is no Batista when it comes to size and figure, but he's a hell of a lot more credible looking than Gibson. Also, from what I hear, Gibson likes his role as road agent. I won't lie, I'd rather see him tearing it up in the ring, but I'd also respect what he wants to do.
