This is a discussion on WC's Wrestling Hall of Shame 2009 within the General Pro Wrestling : Classic & General forums, part of the Wrestling Forums category; I nominate the Bellas ruining Abraham's debut. Washington was intertaining, but that was just god awful....

That's what I'd do personally Tommy. The fued has gone from being an extremely exciting angle with Orton and the McMahon's to the biggest borefest of the year, stretchin on into infinity, without showing any signs of letting up or improving at all.

I agree with whoever said that Triple H getting his hands on Orton before their Mania match kind of killed it. Triple H always looks too strong constantly, so his revenge didn't seem a big deal at all because he'd already owned Orton. Also the DQ stip really ruined it as said by someone else.

Jim, how about a compromise? I could put the Orton/HHH feud in the Hall of Shame as one entry.

I'll be willing to go along with that. The booking of the feud has been pretty odd. It's almost as if they planned out the entire feud step by step and wrote the steps on cards. They then shuffled the deck of cards up to get the new sequence of events. The ending of the Wrestlemania match was perfect. Hunter hitting Orton's own punt before nailing the Pedigree to win the title. It made perfect sense and had the right level or poetic justice of the punt coming back to get Orton. Instead, that was only the beginning stages of the feud. It doesn't make sense.
