Briscoes I really thought of as a legit crediable tag-team in the US...as I believe Indy Tag Wrestling owns any tag-team related thing we see on tv. In my opinion Jay was always the better Briscoe.
They were the most legit team in the indies, but damn, the other face teams needed the Briscoes to be split up. The Steen/Generico reign was bad because of the Briscoes still being treated as the top team.

WWE - 7
I'll still watch RAW when I can, and I look forward to PPVs. I just don't watch Smackdown and ECW and don't really have the same enthusiasm for it that I used to, mainly due to the staleness of it all.
That is exactly my view on WWE same rating etc... although I want to start watching Smackdown more and I love watching Christian and Swagger wrestle so I have started catching glimpses of ECW.
TNA - 2 I still look out for who they release but right now I don't really care. Same with all the other promotions I used to watch ROH and sometimes CZW but now just cannot be bothered.
I own the first four shows and used to live with a guy who would buy between four and eight ROH DVD's a month. So for about a year all we would do was watch ROH on weekends during the day, and go to gigs in the evening. It was epic fun. Once I get a job, I'm gonna start buying wrestling DVD's again. I can't wait. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Re: Rate your current interest in the wrestling scene
With the Cable Company I have taking even more channels away because of the damned Cable Package I have this is cutting even more and more of my TV Watching Wrestling really down to Raw and SmackDown with ECW, Superstars and now TNA Impact down to Youtube. I feel with immense pain but here we go with the ratings. I'll try to be as comprehensive as possible.
WWE:
Raw - 6/10/ I would be alot more interested with this brand if Randy Orton wasn't made out to look like such a coward and rather show a decisive, cunning, attack like a Heel should be able to do without looking weak in the end and rather than getting a convincing victory on his own merit, he has to look weak or get lucky in doing so. Awkward and terrible booking makes Two Young stars like Cody and Ted look plain and lethargic instead of evil and nasty quite like Randy is but having them loose or look weak in the process hurts the booking overall. Raw has alot of talent but that talent gets squandered due to terrible writing and often to much pre-produced bullshit that it often sucks the fun out of a great broadcast when you have guys like The Miz, MVP, The Brian Kendrick that are willing to reach for that next eschelon and are ready to be elevated to that next level. They just need to figure out what to do and organize the logic and the psychology down and maybe have matches longer than 2-5 minutes and they'll be alright and better in no-time.
ECW - 8/10/ Unlike Raw, ECW is really able to benefit the most from one less hour and the smaller roster size. Despite them drawing low ratings simply because of the channle they're on and the level of interest decreased from the WrestleMania Buzz, ECW consistently in my eyes delivers. Does ECW make mistakes? Of course....That being Vladimir Kozlov but I mean who can't be excited for the Hart Triology? That has me giddy along with the impending arrival of another guy that is ready to step right into the scene from FCW, Sheamus O' Shaugnassey. Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, a Veteran like Finlay without Hornswoggle, Mark Henry, Paul Burchill, Jack Swagger (A Bonafide Star in the next year or so with a World Title Reign), Christian and Tommy Dreamer. A Brand that has consistently shown great upside and will continue to do so in my eyes. Limit the Kozlov push and ECW gets more interest.
SmackDown10/10/ The Consensus Best Brand right now in the WWE that is making me excited to pay attention to WWE Judgment Day. Ever since the Draft, the Main Event scene isn't cluttered with big and plotting guys and has really picked up the pace of mobilizing a few new feuds. Packed with guys like Edge, Jericho, Mysterio, Umaga, Punk, Jeff Hardy, Shelton and John Morrison. SmackDown has really delivered some of their best shows of 2009 as they've made their way towards Judgement Day and it's really been fun to watch.
Average = 8/10
TNA - 6/10/ Amazingly enough, TNA has been keeping my interest as of late which is something they really weren't able to do a few months ago mostly because in watching the programs, they have been able to stretch out the feuds and storylines more so over the past few weeks now on their way to Sacrifice. The problem is though that with their revolving door of Older Top Names at the top and the terrible push of Samoa Joe, TNA continues to run into the same rut. I have liked though Mick Foley's heel turn and the Tag Team action along with the Knockouts action with Kong. MCMG getting action on TNA on a weekly basis and taken seriously is always a good thing. Keep it up I suppose but put a fresh face in the main event every now and then and that interest might rise.
ROH - 7/10/ Surprisingly, I guess I'm really the only one on here that hasn't exactly found the ROH on HDNet that bad. I mean, in some parts I've been bored by it but the production qualities of these shows should be used for their PPV's. The action on the show still puts most WWE and TNA to shame but sometimes the crowd is too silent and really kills the atmosphere of the match. Are there flaws? Of course, but for what ROH puts out they are getting the interest back I think with mostly the action from the American Wolves and Austin Aries among others like Grizz an I can't wait for Nigel to get back.
CHIKARA - 10/10/ I'm going to my first Chikara Show ever in Easton on the 23rd and little by little I've been picking up the traditions and abilities of what Chikara has been able to do. I've been following since Podcast #80 something or so now and really talent like Eddie Kingston, the Tag Scene, Mike Quackenbush, Vin Gerard, Osirian Portal, Super Smash Bros. among others has me pumped for the event and I am really really looking forward to it.
PWG - 5/10/ Now, I've seen my fair share of the Left Coast of PWG and have really been impressed by talents like Human Tornado, Scott Lost, Hero and Joey Ryan among others like The Young Bucks. I just wish that they had more events and sold more of their product through youtube. That way I can view more stuff.
Average of Everything = 72/100 = Fairly Decent
