In an interview, Mark Rocco said that there was no wrestling scene in China or Russia, why do you think this is, maybe they wouldn't allow it, keep in mind the Russian leader was an amateur wrestler.
Perhaps it would be a good business venture for someone to go out there and start a promotion up, no competition! It's also interesting that the WWE has expressed interest in touring China, don't know how that'll go.
Also apparently there was no wrestling scene in Norway until afew years ago when Erik Isaken started up a company after seeing wrestling in the UK.
I don't know much about the countries thoughts on wrestling but I know plenty of places especially Croatia won't allow pro wrestling due to it not being legitimate.

WWE is getting bigger in China, last I heard, but take that with a grain of salt since that came from WWE's mouth themselves, haha. I know after the earthquake a few Japanese promotions did a benefit show, though I'm not precisely sure if it was in China.
Eh, I'm not sure. I'm figuring they either don't get the appeal of something displayed as a competitive sport that really isn't, or they simply don't care.
Edit: Oh and like every Russian EVAR is portrayed as the biggest ass hole douche bag in the entire world lol.

Rikki Nelson's NWA Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling toured China back in 2004. According to their website, they were planning on going back but I'm not sure if they did.
