Thanks horrorfan. I saw that a few weeks ago, and those seem to only be classic postings from Bret. i.e. Posts by him after some major event in his life. Aw well. It's fine. By the way: Here's a great interview from Bret where he talks about his heel run.
...Or not. I don't have 15 posts, so I can't post a URL. lol. Just go to you tube if you guys like and type in the search box Ringside meets Bret Hart - Interview.
I must read his book, I love hearing the real-life stories. I always wanted to get Bret's take on things, as I felt alot seemed left out from his epic DVD.

I'm in the middle of it right now. Great read. Nowhere near as quick to get through as Jericho's book. I love the amount of time Hart spends talking about Stampede Wrestling - I became a fan back in those days and Stampede was a big reason.

Bret is easily my favorite wrestling book. The only part that was hard to get through is the few chapters in the early 90's where he won't shut up about how great he is. Even as a big Hart fan, I was just left thinking, "Okay Bret, I get it, you're one of the best wrestlers. It's great that you're proud of your work, but tone it down a bit." Horror, couldn't agree more. I am actually in that part right now. They are just implementing the drug policy after the steroid scandal. He sure does put himself over a ton in this book.
Also, I've noticed he is very postitive when he talks about Shawn Michaels. He can't say enough good stuff about him. I suspect though that he is setting you up so you turn on HBK later in the book as well. lol.
Also, never realized how crazy of a bastard Neidhart was.
I also dig how he has no problem admitting to his steroid use, his alchohol, pill and drug abuse too. It's nice to see that he can admit that he was a bit of a fucknut like everyone else back then too.
I also like that he doesn't throw Hogan under the bus and gives him credit for helping make wrestling what it is today.
