Whatever!, it's subject to person opinion, therein lies the beauty, as I said what you or I believe to be quintessential. It's not mean't to be some cock weilding "I've seen a more diverse bunch of wrestling than you, meaning I'm a real fan.."
To a lesser extent you could say Shawn-Bret Iron Man, or Shawn-Razor, ladder match.
None of those matches hold up well at all but I agree they would be considered "must-see" in the context of historical or famous matches. Also Fizz, please never ever refer to KENTA, Davey Richards, The Briscoes or anything ROH-related as "strong-style" again... please.
I wil answer this by naming a few matches that I think would be "must-see" for various companies or styles, I know it's not what the topic was directly, but meh...

Re: You not a REAL wrestling fan unless you've seen..
Cactus/Terry was alright nothing special, pretty much your standard garbage-y deathmatch with no psycology and alot of violence, only some of the spots, like the finish were more spectacular.
What three-way dance are you refering to?

Ease up guys.
Wasn't trying to be a jerk, just that the idea of being a "real" fan is pretty open to interpretation and its the kind of sentiment that some can take offense to. I have a friend who is a dedicated WWE fan but he never has and never likely will take any interest in anything outside of the E - you might call him more a WWE fan than a pro wrestling fan, but you'd have a hard time convincing him of that, as I've tried. And there are some "newer" fans who don't really care much about the history of the business and matches that occured 20 or 30 years ago. I don't really agree with that approach, but not everyone has an open appreciation.
Its the kind of debate you can have about fandom of any sport or form of entertainment. Personally, I think being a "true" and "knowledgable" fan means having some understanding and knowledge of what pro wrestling as a whole offers. Doesn't mean you have to be an "expert" on everything or love it all, just to have seen enough to understand what something like puro is.
