I did a search and I was surprised we didn't have a thread like this already. There have been others such as worst match ever, but not worst PPV. This can be any promotion at any time of course, hence its place in this section. We have all seen some terrible PPVs over the years, but which do you believe is the absolute worst, and WHY? (aka, don't just give a PPV name and nothing more).
A lot of people believe ECW December To Dismember in 2006 was the worst PPV ever, partly because only 2 matches were announced before the show and it finished WAY early. However, I believe I have seen at least a few TNA PPVs which were worse than this, including Destination X last night. I remember some of the 2008 ones being awful too, such as King of the Mountain. Then there was that famously bad one in 2007 with the blindfold match.

i'm not sure which year it was but it was WWE's Fully Loaded, and the highlight of the night was sable coming out with the hands painted on her chest, i believe the main event was also a very.. boring IC title match with x-pac and D'lo brown

That would be Fully Loaded in 1998, the D-Lo/X-Pac match was a European title match and the main event was actually The Undertaker & Steve Austin vs Kane & Mankind in a decent tag match and The Rock and Triple H had a very good 2 out of 3 falls match.
Personallly I would pick December to Dismember as the worst WWE PPV ever, MNM and The Hardys had a decent bout to open the show but after that the show was basically squash matches with the worst Chamber match to date as the main event, why did they have to have CM Punk and RVD go out so early?
Some honrouble mentions to Summerslam 95, Wrestlemania IX and Wrestlemania XI aswell.
It was only 30 minutes shy of a normal WWE PPV and at least it had two quality matches unlike several TNA PPVs.

The Hardy's vs MNM was awful considering the amount of talent in the ring, the rest of the card was jobbers going over jobbers, and the Elimination Chamber was so awful it was painful to watch.

I personally thought Hardys vs MNM was a good opener. I mean, it wasn't noticably worse than their other matches, and they were all of a reasonably high standard. Nothing amazing, but the match was decent at least, unlike anything on the aforementioned Destination X 2009 card lol.
As for the Chamber, it may well be because I had heard such bad things about the show, but when I finally got round to watching that match, it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. I actually enjoyed it. Sure it had big flaws, such as the horrible finish, but it was mostly fun and again, better than anything on Destination X.

Destination X was truly awful and runs a very close second in my view, but DTD was a show run by a company that have been running shows for literally decades. They decided to run an ECW exclusive PPV with full knowledge of it's limited talent roster and then pushed it's best workers into a badly booked and horribley put together Elimination Chamber in the hope the Chamber itself would boost buyrates... It didn't.
While D-X was terrible, TNA has only been going for 6 years and is being run by retards, You cannot expect high quality PPV's every month. Haha!!
