- The Royal Rumble
Awesome idea Mr. Patterson, truly the work of genius, the PPV itself is centred around the match and with the winner/title op/WM thing it's even more prestigious.
- TNA or ROH?
Despite ROH giving life to some trememdous wrestlers like Colt Cabana & Bryan Danielson, they've also spawned alot of rubbish like Jack Evans, Samoa Joe & The Briscos plus I despise their fans, i'm gonna say TNA.
- The idea of Vince McMahon starting an MMA promotion
That would be interesting, i'm not a huge fan of MMA so I wouldn't be discusted if Vince pissed on it, will it work? Hey it's closer to wrestling than baseball & bodybuilding, so maybe.
- Trish Stratus
One of, if not the greatest womans wrestlers of the 21st century, if not all time, she'll definately go down in the history books, just a shame she's retired, such a short career & so young, she could make that career so much more prestigious if she was still active.
- Mexican wrestling/Lucha libre
Not really my definition of wrestling but each to their own I guess, obviously a great fan base, to them it's all about thrills/spills/exitement but i'm not awfully into it.
- Tiger Mask I
I dunno which one that was.
- John Zandig
Fantastic brawler & promoter, he's the father of ultraviolent wrestling, he's far surpassed Paul Heymans levels of violence, which is quite a feat. Tough SOB too.
- Batista
Well he's one of the biggest stars of today, just a WWE style wrestler who he has improved alot.
- Super Dragon
Eh, he's alright I suppose, abit of an indy darling, but not rated much by this spectator.
- '70's wrestling<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
A great time for WRESTLING, especially if you look to Europe, Britain more specifically, you could see the greatest wrestling youd see anywhere. Of course this was before Vince came along and you know what. Good times, good times.
Sayama AKA Sammy Lee from his British days, i've only seen those matches and he didn't really match up to his opponents, not much of a worker IMO but maybe he improved since then.
The Royal Rumble
An outstanding concept which has produced some of the most memorable moments in wrestling history. Consistently one of the most entertaining times of the year, probably second only to Wrestlemania.
TNA or ROH?
TNA. I'm a sports entertainment fan. TNA may be bad at times but I find IMPACT entertaining and I always look forward to their PPVs. You just don't know whats going to happen next. Although I check out matches now and again, I have never been a huge ROH fan who keeps up with whats going on currently.
The idea of Vince McMahon starting an MMA promotion
lol, stick to what you're good at. I remember when he tried to start his own football league. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Trish Stratus
One of the hottest women I've ever seen, and while she is overrated by some in the ring, I respect the way she clearly worked hard to improve herself and become known as a good wrestler and not just random eye candy, as she was at the start of her WWE career.
Mexican wrestling/Lucha libre
I don't think I've seen anything from Mexican promotions. As for the style, its good in small doses but I'm not as much of a fan of high flyers as others.
John Zandig
By all accounts he's a prick, and his promotion is a piece of trash.
Batista
I used to hate him, but in the last couple of years he has proved that he can put on very good matches in the right situation. On the other hand, you could argue that this is a bad thing, because it shows that he doesn't put the same effort in consistently. He definitely seems lazy a lot of the time. Seems like a dick as a man too.

Great concept, but it sometimes feels tired. Perhaps just because it often seems quite predictable now?
TNA or ROH?
ROH by quite a bit. I'm not a huge ROH mark - yet - but I do enjoy almost all of what I watch. TNA I find frustrating to watch. Yet I do keep watching, mainly because the potential is there for things to be very good. But they usually aren't.
The idea of Vince McMahon starting an MMA promotion
Against. As an MMA fan, I don't like seeing things would could and quite likely would hurt the mainstream credibility of the sport. Having McMahon running a promotion could be interesting, but I doubt it would make a lot of non-fans take the sport more seriously.
Trish Stratus
She had a great career. Kind of like The Rock in that she walked away on top and still quite young. It makes you wonder what she could have accomplished if she had stayed longer.
Mexican wrestling/Lucha libre
I enjoy it, but mostly in small doses. I prefer the Japanese super junior style, to be honest.
Tiger Mask I
Amazing. Just recently watched most of his matches with Dynamite Kid. Outstanding.
Batista
The epitome of the contemporary WWE, and not necessarily in a good way. He's got a good look and he's capable of putting on a good match if he's in the ring with the right opponent. He does promos that are forgettable at best. He doesn't seem capable of carrying a match on his own. He's a guy who could use a manager or even a valet who does his talking for him, but the E doesn't do that anymore... He reminds me of Nash in his run as Disel. Yet for all Batista's limitations, his popularity justifies his position, so...
'70's wrestling
Entertaining in its own way. I think I would find it tough to watch hours upon hours of matches in one sitting, but its definitely worth the time to watch some of it upon occassion.

- The Royal Rumble- Next to WrestleMania and Survivor Series, easily one of the more innovative and exciting PPV's of the entire year. It sets up the road more times than not to WrestleMania. You have the Royal Rumble match and in that match itself, alot of key elements could go on with eliminations and more times rather than not, the Royal Rumble helps to show the promise of the stars of tomorrow.
- TNA or ROH? ROH by miles ahead. I watch both products = and it isn't even close. I am going to the 7th Anniversary show this weekend in NYC but TNA continues to run their product into the ground.
- The idea of Vince McMahon starting an MMA promotion - Stick to what your Best at Vince and don't try to make a "Real" Promotion if your in the business of Pro Wrestling.
- Trish Stratus- Started out rough in the WWF but overtime matured into one of the very best Women Professional Wrestlers since the day of the Fabulous Moohlah.
- Mexican wrestling/Lucha libre- Ole? But seriously, Mexican Wrestling in the Lucha Libre Style can be entertaining as a spot fest when done right but more times rather than not it just looks Botchy. AAA isn't that good of a promotion but I do respect the work of the Guerrero's and the lgeacy they left behind and also the style of Rey Mysterio.
- Tiger Mask I -One of the more creative and effective characters in Japan that really got over. One of the best and creative wrestlers in Japan's History from a character perspective.
- John Zandig- Haven't heard much of the guy but I assume he's pretty garbage inside and outside the ring since he participates for CZW.
- Batista- Often Lazy and unimpressive. It's not until he is pushed or feel threatened that he actually does something. Mostly overated for his size and ability but when put into the right situation I.E. Undertaker, Edge, or HHH, then Batista can put on a good match.
- Super Dragon- One of the biggest Bad Asses in Pro Wrestling Today. He just doesn't give a shit and enjoys beating the shit out of anybody he is in the ring with. He's pretty awesome.
- '70's wrestling- Mostly performed by Unathletic, Out of shape, hasbeens but for the exceptions like Bruno Sammartino and Dusty.....The 70's for Professional Wrestling sucked. Vern Gagne did though help out to churn alot of stars of the 80's with his bootcamp.

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->- The Royal Rumble
Genious idea and always fun to watch. Most of the time the WWE seem to be able to nail the formula to making it great whilest others have tried to replicate and failed.
- TNA or ROH? After Destination X I can honestly say anyone who picked TNA must have some sort of syndrome.
- The idea of Vince McMahon starting an MMA promotion It'd be great just to see the MMA fans PMS over it. Get in Bob Sapp, Angle, Lesnar and a few others and I'm sold.
- Trish Stratus Good but overated because the bar is so low.
- Mexican wrestling/Lucha libre
80% of it is pretty crappy though there are some hidden gems are great workers out there that can actually tell a great story. Their match based matches are usually top notch.
- Tiger Mask I Probably overated in terms of wrestling ability (selling was pretty average at best) but certainly helped popularize the junior style and was perhaps one of the strongest influences in wrestling history. He's still pretty good these days even.
- John Zandig Perhaps the worst promoter and businessman in the business not named Ian Rotten. His tactics are shoddy, his ego enormous and his wrestling ability abismal.
- Batista When he tries he can churn out a really great performance and he's pretty easy to carry by guys who know what they're doing, but often is too lazy and "going through the motions"-y. He's done well for a generic big man.
- Super Dragon One of my favourite non-ROH indy guys. The guy reeks of true heel persona and comes across as a legit dick head. Almost always fun to watch.
- '70's wrestling Not alot of it interests me though I can appreciate the ability. I enjoy certain guys but others I am not so hot on. Too many restholds.

The Royal Rumble The best gimmick match in the history of the WWE, the match down the years as sewn the seeds for so many Wrestlemania matches and is consitantly entertaining.
TNA or ROH A few years ago it would have been TNA hands down but because of the terrible booking and downright daft gimmicks I will have to go for ROH.
The idea of Vince McMahon starting an MMA promotion WBF, XKL, WWE Music, WWE Films, enough said. Stick to wrestling Vince.
Trish Stratus Fantastic work ethic and made great strides in her years in Wrestling but in terms of ability I wuld still put her behind the likes of Gail Kim, Mickie James, Victoria and Molly Holly.
Mexican wrestling/Lucha libre Good in moderation, wouldnt be able to watch a full 3 hour PPV of it.
Tiger Mask 1 Good wrestler who helped make the junior division.
Batista Doesnt put on anywhere near enough good matches to be put in the postion he is in and is very inconsistant but he is incredibly over and it makes buisness sense to be where he is in the card.
