I am a huge fan of Orton right now but this shouldn't be a contest. He is a good wrestler but nothing more. His character is the best thing about him. In the ring he can be very good but he can also be pretty damn average, and he has not had too many matches in his career to date which I would describe as ''great''. The Foley one is the obvious example, and I have thoroughly enjoyed others such as the Cena matches, the Trips matches at No Mercy 07 and Backlash 08 (it was basically a one on one match after JBL and Cena were eliminated) and a few others.
I have not seen a HUGE amount of Dragon matches, but even so, I have seen more great Dragon matches than great Orton matches, and they were better than Orton's best.

Randy Orton is overrated to fuck when it comes to in-ring talent. This is easily a no-contest.

Yes, it's hot. Yes it's Megan Fox kissing another woman from Jennifer's Body. Yes, it's hot... owait, I already said that. Yes, I'm aware this makes me sound like a total lesbian. But this scene? UNF.
This is how I look at it. While Danielson is able to do put on fantastic matches with roughly anybody that he is put into the ring with, Orton doesn't get enough time to do the same and while Orton is often in the ring with such veterans like John Cena, HHH, Undertaker, Michaels and it can go on and on but while I think Orton is heavily talented, Danielson can have a great match with any type of talent and get that proponent over. While Orton is able to sell the match with limities Time, Danielsons work rate and abilities to just work with anybody and not have a problem with it is one of the big reasons why Danielson as an Indy Talent is better than a highly touted WWE Wrestler like Orton and unlike all the critics, Orton knows how to milk the match and get as much heat on him as possible. Thus not being as "Overrated" as few people put it when thinking of Orton.
