The sport of kings, although not as brilliant as it should be, generally, it's gone off course in the last 30 years, but I hope PRO WRESTLING makes it's return some day, i'm pretty sure it'll have to.
- Eddie Guerrero pre-WWE
He was cool then, erm, about as good as he was when he was in the WWE.
- TNA 2007
I dunno.
- Angle vs Michaels from Wrestlemania 21
Fantastic match, now that's what I call wrestling...
- Bob Backlund
Absolute legend, may have tarnished his legacy by going psycho in the 90's, I don't know why he had a sudden gimmick change later on in his career.
- Topes/Suicide dives
Eh, that lucha stuffs ok, when used in moderation, like 'Taker at 'Mania.
- Best heel in wrestling today?
Hmmmm....Not sure.
- Japanese wrestling/Puroresu
Their philosophy is that wrestling is more of a fight than a contest, and I don't agree but respect it, they have some immensely talented lads in places like NOAH.
- Low Ki or AJ Styles?
A.J. He's one of the best indy wrestlers in America.
- The ROH vs CZW Cage Of Death<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
Haven't seen it.
- Pro wrestling
A joke to people who dont understand it. And even a lot of people who do understand it. One of the single hardest things to do well is professional wrestling.
- Eddie Guerrero pre-WWE
As talented as he was, i always thought he was missing something. Even in his first WWE run he still didnt seem to be capable of moving up the card. He eventually found it in the Lie, Cheat & Steal Gimmick.
- TNA 2007
Obviousally not as good as previous years but nowhere near as bad as some people made it out to be.
- Angle vs Michaels from Wrestlemania 21
Brilliant Match from two of the best. So often matches fail to deliever, this isnt one of those.
- Bob Backlund
Great wrestler but only hurt himself when he got a gimmick change and then when he returned a few years ago.
- Topes/Suicide dives
Depends on who is doing them. Some people can make them look great while others make them look shit. Probably overused today.
- Best heel in wrestling today?
A few months ago i woul have said Randy Orton but right now i cant think of anyone who stands out from the crowd.
- Japanese wrestling/Puroresu
I have never been able to get into it.
- Low Ki or AJ Styles?
Depends on what your looking for. If you want a vicious and real looking match you go with Low Ki, if you want to be amazed you go with Styles. Personally, i'd go with Styles in most cases.

- Pro wrestling
Who would have thought fake fighting could be so interesting?
- Eddie Guerrero pre-WWE I've watched alot of his stuff and you can tell even from his early days in Mexico he was going to be big. Often the best man in his matches in Mexico, was alot of fun in NJPW as Black Tiger, had some seriously good matches in ECW. WCW run was up and down because of the booking but he produced a fair amount of good stuff there too.
- TNA 2007 Shitty booking mixed with terrible wrestling. The year I gave up on TNA.
- Angle vs Michaels from Wrestlemania 21 Average match, at best. I wonder if during the match HBK whispered to Angle, "hey lets just keep doing our usual spots and kick out of them all, the fans are lapping it up". Sums up everything I hate about the term "dream match". Not really sure why HBK was facing the wrong way when going for a dive but it was pretty funny seeing him almost decipitate Angle.
- Bob Backlund Need to see more, but what I've seen from him I've really enjoyed. Loads of charisma and super-tight on the mat. Any recommendations? Hated him in TNA though, way to kill any chance of Ki and Aries having a good fued.
- Topes/Suicide dives The move where you throw yourself at your opponent with the soul purpose of destroying them - best move ever?
- Best heel in wrestling today? The margin between Nigel McGuiness and everyone else is just gigantic. There is no other answer to this really, he gets insane heat, has amazing ring presence and generally feels like the most outrageous guy going today.
- Japanese wrestling/Puroresu Wouldn't say it's better than US wrestling, but there's alot more variety over there. You have traditional wrestling, spotfesty stuff, shoot-style, hardcore stuff, comedy stuff, etc. Usually produces alot of great matches, though the no-selling gets anoyying quickly.
- Low Ki or AJ Styles? Close, but I'll say Ki is better and always has been. AJ was really quite average on the indy scene whereas Ki is one of the best indy workers of the decade. AJ is/was pretty good in TNA, but Ki was also quite enjoyable there without the mega push. AJ can sometimes be ridiculously spotty and can have awful selling at times, too. Plus he sucks as a heel.
- The ROH vs CZW Cage Of Death Must-see match. Rivals the 2004 Rumble for the title of best booked match this decade.

- Eddie Guerrero pre-WWE
Better workrate than his WWE work, but he didn't have the same presence than in than in the WWE. Solid midcarder, but nothing more.
- TNA 2007
After a disappointing (At points) 2006, 2007 was the year TNA just went down hard and I lost all interest.
- Angle vs Michaels from Wrestlemania 21
One of the more overrated matches in WM history.
- Bob Backlund
Crucial part of the WWE in holding the company together until they could find their next Bruno aka Hogan. Backlund's 1994 heel turn is one of my favorite heel turns ever.
- Topes/Suicide dives
Fun, but best when done rarely. It's why Taker's is so much more impressive than some lucha star who does it every few minutes.
- Best heel in wrestling today?
Does Vickie Guerrero count?
- Japanese wrestling/Puroresu
As long as you don't mind hearing a language you can't understand and a little slower paced match, it can feature some great matches.
- Low Ki or AJ Styles?
Low-Ki is one of my favorite indy stars of the decade. AJ is so overrated.
- The ROH vs CZW Cage Of Death
MOTYC for ROH. Everything just worked beautifully in this *Gasp* story driven match.

Entertainment. There's no denying the skill and athleticism, but I can't see it as a true sport. I don't really see being a fan of pro wrestling as any better or worse than being a fan of anything else - particular TV shows, a type of music, comic books, whatever.
Eddie Guerrero pre-WWE
Like others have said, he didn't seem like a huge star in waiting to happen either with ECW or WCW. Great worker, but I think it was finding the right gimmick that pushed him forward.
TNA 2007
Didn't watch much at that point.
Angle vs Michaels from Wrestlemania 21
Re-watched the WMs recently and that match didn't really stick out much, which tells you something.
Bob Backlund
Underrated by a lot of people who only remember his early 90s stuff.
Topes/Suicide dives
Awesome if used in moderation. Same as any risky manuver, really.
Best heel in wrestling today?
Orton or Nigel. It would probably still be Vince if he was on air regularly in a heel role.
Japanese wrestling/Puroresu
Getting into and liking it - hence the sig. They tend to do an amazing job of telling stories in many of their matches. I can't really say its better or worse than American pro wrestling because its so different.
Low Ki or AJ Styles?
Low Ki.
The ROH vs CZW Cage Of Death
Finally watched it recently. Well-done match.

Pro wrestling
Something which non-fans can't see the appeal of, but for others, it is more than just entertainment. Nowadays its pretty much love it or hate it, and I love it. So entertaining and different from any other form of entertainment. On paper the concept sounds shit, but its greatness.
Eddie Guerrero pre-WWE
I've only seen a few select matches from his WCW days, and while good, they wern't as good as the best Eddie in WWE matches I have seen, with the exception of the famous Rey match.
TNA 2007
I remember it being pretty bad. There were a lot of things which could have been great but ended up being terrible, such as the Abyss/Sting feud, and the Judas Mesias character. TNA was unbelievably frustrating because they set up angles which looked like they could be something special, only to undo all their own work with nonsensical booking and shitty gimmick matches, eg the Abyss/Sting feud. Hardly any great matches, if any, to speak of, but I did really enjoy the Cage/Joe matches. At least Bound for Glory was better than last year's.
Angle vs Michaels from Wrestlemania 21
Opinion seems divided on this. Either people think it is one of the best matches they've seen and the perfect ''dream match'', or they think it is hella overrated. I personally think it is slightly overrated by some, but others criticise it way too harshly. It had me on the edge of my seat throughout which is always the sign of a pretty great match, and some of the moments in it were pretty epic. I would say it is up there with the best Wrestlemania matches.
Bob Backlund
I've only seen him in TNA, so I can't comment on his wrestling ability. Kinda sucked as a character in TNA though.
Topes/Suicide dives
I love them, and like others, I think it is great when they are used sparingly such as Taker's Wrestlemania dives. That said, there is nothing which gets me more into a match than seeing someones launch himself through the ropes at his opponent, and I don't
Best heel in wrestling today?
I would go for Randy Orton. I have always enjoyed him but recently he has really stepped up his game and is now one of the best mic workers in wrestling. He is just awesome at playing that cold, calculating evil genius. Of course, some great booking hasn't hurt him either.
Japanese wrestling/Puroresu
I am not really a huge fan. I admire the Japanese wrestlers because a lot of them are clearly extremely talented and they have more respect for wrestling over there, as it is treated more like a sport. I just personally prefer the sports entertainment aspect and think that while puro matches are good, they don't entertain me as much as the best north american style matches. The whole ''stiffness'' thing doesn't appeal to me as much as others. If I wanted to watch the stiffest blows possible, I'd watch a real fight.
Low Ki or AJ Styles?
Low Ki is great but I find AJ more entertaining. He is still one of the best wrestlers in the world as far as entertainment goes in my opinion, and is one of the main reasons to watch TNA.
The ROH vs CZW Cage Of Death
Just watched this now actually. I thought it was really good, but not absolutely amazing. I liked the frenetic finish and some moments in the match such as Dragon turning on Joe. I know this was kinda the whole point, but I dislike that sort of trashy, spotty hardcore matches with brutal weapons and blood everywhere, and I felt this match was pretty trashy. Highly enjoyable but not what I would describe as an amazing match.

- Pro wrestling
As a whole? I feel like it's losing everything that made it good
- Eddie Guerrero pre-WWE Eddie pre-WWE was weird for me. He'd show the glimpse of stardom we saw in WWE, but then he'd fuck something up and you'd think this guy is doomed to the midcard for life. I love some of his stuff, and hate others. One of those wrestlers I was really torn on.
- TNA 2007 loltna
- Angle vs Michaels from Wrestlemania 21 It was epicly boring.
- Bob Backlund He was great from what I remember. Easily one of the betters of his time
- Topes/Suicide dives In moderation, good.
- Best heel in wrestling today? Not Applicable.
- Japanese wrestling/Puroresu I enjoy it loads more than most of the shit thats shown in the US.
- Low Ki or AJ Styles? Ki, hands down.
- The ROH vs CZW Cage Of Death I thought it was pretty good.
