- Crowd heat
Necassary, can make or break a match. A good match can feel like a great match in front of a hot crowd.
- La Parka/LA PARK Always alot of fun. Good gimmick guy in WCW and an awesome brawler has had his share of classics. Thriller as theme music = win.
- Punk/Joe matches First match is good though sort of sloppy on second watch, the second two are maginificent and are masterclasses in story-telling and both are potentially best match this decade.
- Jeff Jarrett Always have enjoyed the guy to a degree though he has always been a poor man's Triple H.
- Rick Rude Need to see more, though looks like he was a heel of epic proportions. What do I need to see?
- Wrestling fan youtube shoots The summation of everything wrong with the human race.
- Indy "chain-wrestling-to-stand-off" spot
Boring and whored out. Nothing says "give me star ratings" like two guys working a choreographed sequence before a stare down to show "respect".
- Flair/Steamboat or Flair/Funk? Flair/Funk was in my opinion better than all the Flair/Steamboat matches. Lots of, let's say, "personality" to it, barrels of hate, great story-telling and the finish destorys any of the Flair/Steamboat finishes.. Plus a great post-match moment.
- Curry Man or Fallen Angel?
Curry Man was alot of fun at first but the Fall Angel is a way better character.
- Scott Steiner Never really found him to be that great in the ring, even in tag matches I enjoy Scott more. Has had a few notable matches here and there but his single career has been based around him being able to throw a nice suplex. The man is gold on the mic though, Steiner's unintentional ramblings are amazing.

Like Steve said, it can make or break the match/segment. Take Big Show being announced as the Number One Contender as an example of breaking. During an actual match, very few people can get the required heat. Its no use the fans disliking you, they should hate you. Triple H and Jeff Jarrett a few years ago were masters at getting the fans to hate them, unfortunatly, they seem to be few and far between at that level.
- Punk/Joe matches
Brilliance and some of the best wrestling you'll see from either man.
- Jeff Jarrett
Epic as a heel but not so much as a babyface. He plays the chickenshit who will do anything to keep his title to perfection.
- Rick Rude
I havent seen as much of him as others have but my impression is that he should have been much bigger than he was.
- Wrestling fan youtube shoots
The people involved need to be shot.
- Indy "chain-wrestling-to-stand-off" spot
It was good the first few times but now it is way over used and im suprised if it doesnt happen in an indy show at some point.
- Flair/Steamboat or Flair/Funk?
Flair/Funk. Just liked it better.
- Curry Man or Fallen Angel?
Depends on the situation. Curry Man got Daniels a lot of air time and showed a lot of charisma but would never get him past the midcard. The Fallen Angel meanwhile as the potential to be Main Event but, the charisma seems to vanish unless he is heel.
- Scott Steiner
On the mic he can be either hilarious or horrendous. Its usually hilarious these days while his wrestling takes the horrendous side more often than it should.

Nescessary in moderation, but only when nescessary, should be used when a heel cheats, not when a face messes up a spot (i'm talking about smart marks here). There's nothing wrong with sportsmanship in pro wrestling.
- La Parka/LA PARK
He's alright, probably one of the best luchadores out there, not that i'm hugely into that stuff, but you have to respect him.
- Punk/Joe matches
Eh, wildly overrated, like most Joe matches.
- Jeff Jarrett
Obviously a self indulgant attention seeker, if he didn't have so much power in TNA, he wouldn't be so succesful. He's good as a mid carder, and I respect him as a veteran, but not his TNA stuff, he dosen't belong anywhere near no World belt.
- Rick Rude
"Ravashing" I remember him as mainly, he's cool I suppose, good gimmick, fair dos.
- Wrestling fan youtube shoots
Some good/some bad, you get funny ones, then you get posers.
- Indy "chain-wrestling-to-stand-off" spot
It's good in British wrestling, when there is a genuinely impressive athletic display, but yeah, in spotfests (in the first 5 minutes, I guarentee you) it just screams REHEARSED!
- Flair/Steamboat or Flair/Funk?
Didn't see either of them, both sound great though.
- Curry Man or Fallen Angel?
I love Christopher Daniels, hmmm, i'm gonna have to go with "The Fallen Angel".
- Scott Steiner<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
Very harshly treated by internet fans, in many ways he's no different to the likes of Sid, not much of a worker, but he's a muscle freak, the idea is that he knocks the fizuck out of people, not 25 minute technical wrestling displays, he could be used great as a kick arse guy...like Sid.
In his younger days, as we know, he was awesome, but he's older now, he has to do things differently, which is fair enough, work with what you've got and all.
- Crowd heat- It's essential for the points that if you have a Hot crowd that can make the match itself and I don't care how good a match is but if you don't have the crowd as a support system, you don't have shit. I do get annoyed though when fans are blantantly chanting Boring because the action isn't a Non-Stop style. People these days sometimes don't even know what a story in psychology is primarily because of what the Attitude Era did.
- La Parka/LA PARK - Didn't really get into alot of his stuff in WCW. I mean he was entertaining for a short little while but then quickly died out primarily because his gimmick wasn't the type of gimmick that I'd really like all that much.
- Punk/Joe matches - A series of great action that really showed alot of growth by each guy in each set of their bouts. Those two are ROH legends and they really helped with Danielson, Low Ki, among other helped put ROH on the map and if you ever wana see a set of matches that define what ROH is all about, see a Danielson match or any one of these three bouts.
- Jeff Jarrett- I respect the guy for what he's done with TNA and throughout his entire career he's tried to carve his own path. I respect that. The problem I have with him though is that if he's on the screen week after week after week after month after month after year and after year then he can obviously be seen as stale and a waste of TV Space. In limited amounts, Jeff is a great character and a good business man for what he's done to get TNA to where it is. Just the direction the company goes in from time to time bothers me and it's because of Mantle and Russo and the rest of the booking staff.
- Rick Rude- Steve, during the late 80's to early 90's he was one of the best Heels the WWF had next to Ted Dibiase and Mr. Perfect among others because what the Intercontinental Title division desperately needed after the transition from Savage and Steamboat to Honky and Warrior was another Heel that could really carry that belt to the legacy that most people think about that title of today's standards. If I were you, I'd watch Rude/Roberts feud in the late 80's when Rude courted Roberts wife on the road at the time and even some of his matches with the Ultimate Warrior were passable to good.
- Wrestling fan youtube shoots- For the most part, it's just one fan's opinion that most don't give a shit about but I guess it's just another avenue in which they can go down to voice their concerns with the product or stuff. I don't have that big of a problem with it mostly because I don't pay that much attention to it.
- Indy "chain-wrestling-to-stand-off" spot- Fun kinetic energy at work and can really get the crowd going if the crowd looks at both as ='s.
- Flair/Steamboat or Flair/Funk?- I liked Steamboat and Flair because after the bouts with Savage and Roberts, Steamboat needed this in the worst way and with Flair their to sell and put on great matches with Steamboat I'd give it to Steamboat although Funk was older and have more charisma and personality injected when Flair moved onto the next feud but this question is really do you like Steamboat or Funk's work more.
- Curry Man or Fallen Angel?- Is that even a fair question to ask? Fallen Angel was 10x atleast better than Curry Man.
- Scott Steiner- A waist of space that isn't needed and hasn't been needed for 15 plus years now. The only time I found Steiner remotly interesting and entertaining was when he was with the Varsity Club and during the early 90's when he teamed with Ric in the WWF.

As already stated, can make or break a match. Can elevate a good match to a great match or turn it into crap.
- La Parka/LA PARK I always found him mehtastic. At times he's incredibly entertaining, and the next time he's unbearable. He's pretty good at what he does though, and as Steve said, was a lot of fun in wCw
- Punk/Joe matches Three pretty good matches, obviously the final encounters being better than the first, but otherwise outstanding matches, tops in this decade.
- Jeff Jarrett I loved him in WWE, But after his departure to wCw and subsequent reappearance in WWE, I thought he lost a bit.
- Rick Rude If I had to choose one heel of all-time it would be this man. He was a damn good wrestler whom could put on a match and could draw tremendous amounts of heat from the crowd. Plain and simple, his death was the reason my father stopped watching wrestling. He puts Heels today to shame.
- Wrestling fan youtube shoots I watched one, I felt like punching the kid in the face
- Indy "chain-wrestling-to-stand-off" spot
meh
- Flair/Steamboat or Flair/Funk? If I'm attempting to be as unbiased as possible then it goes to Flair/Funk, but my personal preference of Steamboat makes the Steamboat matches mean more - Curry Man or Fallen Angel?
Curry Man is a great comic relief character, however it's definitely not a permanent fixture on a show. Much like Goldust, is great as a guy to put some people over(provided good booking) but I doubt as a face of a company. Fallen Angel is the better gimmick though, but I wasn't entirely thrilled with Daniels execution of the gimmick, it could've been so much more than it was in it's first run.
- Scott Steiner The pure definition of unintentional comedy.

wait are you saying Magic Johnson is black, has AIDS and has it better than ME?
- Scott Steiner- A waist of space that isn't needed and hasn't been needed for 15 plus years now. The only time I found Steiner remotly interesting and entertaining was when he was with the Varsity Club and during the early 90's when he teamed with Ric in the WWF.
Scott was never in the Varsity Club.
- Crowd heat
Um...yay? Without it, the match is meaningless.
- La Parka/LA PARK
Once WCW started pushing him as something different than just a generic luchador heel, he excelled. The whole Chairman and the fake voice gag was gold in a poor time for WCW.
- Punk/Joe matches
The modern day Steamboat vs Flair that ends up being even better. For 2 and a half hours, the time goes by quickly.
- Jeff Jarrett
One of the better wrestlers of the mid-nineties for the WWE. Wasn't quite good enough to carry anyone, but could work with a good worker to get a great match. One of the last great IC Champions.
- Rick Rude
One of the more entertaining heels in WWE history. He's also one of the wrestlers who helped turn around WCW after Flair left. His Iron Man match against Steamboat remains my favorite WCW match ever. Ironically, as bad as Warrior is made out to be by the IWC, Rude's best WWE match came against him (WM or Summerslam 1989). He was pushed about as far as he should of been though. While people love claiming he would of been a great WWE main eventer, he never had the talent to lead such a large company. Rude fits more into the category with Mr. Perfect, rather than someone who should of been pushed like Ted DiBiase.
- Wrestling fan youtube shoots
Most of the ones I've seen are with complete losers. They tend to make the typical message board user seem great.
- Indy "chain-wrestling-to-stand-off" spot
I always enjoyed the spot.
- Flair/Steamboat or Flair/Funk?
Flair vs Steamboat was just consistent greatness. However, they were virtually the same match all the time. Flair vs Funk was the more storyline driven feud. Thanks to the extra storyline being forced into the matches, it made the Funk/Flair series better.
- Curry Man or Fallen Angel?
Curry Man is a fun comedy character. Fallen Angle is a character you can base an indy company around. Angel easily.
- Scott Steiner
One half of one of the greatest tag teams of all time. At one time, Scott was one of the best US wrestlers. Once Scott fell in love with the 'roids, that all disappeared. Oddly enough, it's also the time period he finally found charisma and became a character who could draw money.

- Crowd heat Such a important part of a match. Their could be a great match with zero crowd heat, it really hurts the match. But, when their is a bad match and their is crowd heat, it makes the match enjoyable to at least watch.
- La Parka/LA PARK I was and still am a HUGE Parka fan. I've seen some of his MLW stuff, and i can only imagine what he does over in Mexico or wherever.
- Punk/Joe matches I believe i have only seen one match which was Joe versus Punk II. It was a solid match.
- Jeff Jarrett Jeff Jarrett is a great heel. He gets a bad rap for TNA 2003-2006 because he was always champion but the fact is that their wasn't anyone else to get the belt off of him, maybe Monty Brown. I think Jarrett's best run was 1994-2000.
- Rick Rude fantastic heel. One of the first heel wrestlers i remember as a kid. I thought everything he did was gold.
- Wrestling fan youtube shoots Non-importance.
- Indy "chain-wrestling-to-stand-off" spot Happens alot as a way to get a cheap reaction, which works but its played out when you see i 9 times a show.
- Flair/Steamboat or Flair/Funk? Without question Flair/Steamboat.
- Curry Man or Fallen Angel? Fallen Angel because he was able to talk and wasnt doing a stupid comedy act.
- Scott Steiner He was really good in the early 1990's and then he got really too big. I did enjoy his 2000 title reign in WCW but anything after that, from a in ring point of a view, he has been bad.
