CM Punk vs Samoa Joe III - All Star Extravanganza II
I know most people prefer Punk/Joe III to II, and I can certainly see why due to the fact that it actually had a real conclusion, that Joe resorted to cheating etc, but I personally think II was still the better actual match and while III is amazing (both 5* imo) Angle/Benoit JUST gets the nod due to personal preference. There is very little to choose betwee them, as you would imagine at this stage, but I just found Benoit/Angle to be marginally better.

I have to go with Joe/Punk as well since it's my favourite match of all time. I can't say anything against Angle/Benoit though.
I wouldn't say the heel tactics by Joe constitute a 'turn' as such. I could very well be totally wrong since my wrestling brain is pretty fucked since I stopped watching, but wasn't Joe already a heel? He'd just never cheated in a match before so I wouldn't say putting his feet on the ropes really did anything other than put over his desperation to actually beat Punk cleanly. Unless that's what you're getting at and I've misinterpreted what you're saying, in which case I offer a humble apology. >_>
Yeah, what you said. I meant he transitioned from "dickhead heel who you respect because he backs it up" to "chickenshit heel who does anything to win".
