Some of the best wrestlers of all time weren't even that big. HBK and Bret Hart come instantly to mind. (yes I am aware they are still muscular)
Obviously charisma, a good look, mic skills and overall dexterity and coordination are much more important than muscle.
Anyone can get muscular, not everyone can speak in front of 15,000 people and sell it.

I think it depends on the company the wrestler is trying to get a job in. Ive seen a couple reports over the years about how WWE had signed bodybuilders in hopes of training them to become wrestlers. In fact Ive heard that in the 70's & 80's it was all about the size of the wrestlers and not the talent, look at Warrior. If a person has the "look" and has a general interest in entertainment, I think there is a chance WWE could grab them up given the right circumstances. Independents would probably be a different story. Im not a major buff of them, but from what Ive seen and heard, talent is needed more than look.
Yeah. It can work both ways considering that a company wants multiple types of stars to appeal to different tastes and demographics. The Great Khali only needs his size. On the other hand, CM Punk only needs his skill. You can go any way you want. Some people got nothing.

Considering wrestling is all about speaking to the crowd, doing your moves, showing charisma, making sure things flow and all that.... all do require some amount of talent..... why is this question being asked? It's so stupid. The question is like asking if the sky is blue or is it purple!

Yes, I have a GIF of two women kissing.
Yes, it's hot. Yes it's Megan Fox kissing another woman from Jennifer's Body. Yes, it's hot... owait, I already said that. Yes, I'm aware this makes me sound like a total lesbian. But this scene? UNF.

You just haven't seen the amount of noobs this forum is getting lately...
But yeah...I'm pretty sure you have to be talented in someway. I could be wrong though. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
lets just put it like this, you have to be talented to be a sucessfull wrestler and have a sucessfull career. There are plenty of wrestlers that come in and really don't have much talent but those usually don't last very long.
Of course you need talent in wrestling. That talent may not necessarily mean in-ring skills, but either good on the mic or have an incredible persona. Every single wrestler the WWE pushed (Longer than just a trial period) has been talented. Hogan, Warrior, Andre, Austin, Rock, Michaels and even the fuckin' Godfather all was talented in their own ways.
