- CM Punk
One of the best in America when he was in the indies. Thus far in his WWE career, he's teased a few times at crossing over to being good again. However, with match times being so short and not being allowed to get a real character going, he's struggling to be seen as important to a show.
- Scott Hall
At one time, he was one of the better wrestlers in the world. It's quite sad to see what he became once he went back to WCW.
- Tajiri
One of the best wrestlers who never had a reason to even try. Tajiri found a way to be entertaining in only a few minutes of air time. Very disappointed the WWE didn't push him more. One of the best wrestlers in the final years of ECW.
- Regal or Finlay?
Regal. Regal is perhaps the most well rounded wrestler who hasn't gotten a major break. Mic wise, character, in ring action, ect, he has it all. Finlay has impressed the hell out of me since coming to the WWE though. His back must be in terrible shape from all of the carry jobs.
- Rob Feinstein
Scum of the earth. Not only is he a piece of shit for being a pedo, but his actions almost killed a damn fine company.
- Jim Cornette
The second best manager of all time. Cornette hasn't lost a single step over the decades.
- CHIKARA
Proof that you can be children friendly, yet still put on good matches. But oh yeah, the TV-PG is killing the WWE. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
- Low Ki
One of my favorite indy stars of the decade. I'm really interested in seeing what he can do in the WWE. Hopefully his attitude problems doesn't fuck him up like it did to Kash.
- Stiffness
I know I enjoy seeing a stiff match, however; it's not necessary. This isn't 1940, you don't need to be a legit ass kicker. The business is a work.
- Samoa Joe
Unbelievable for a guy his size. Agile isn't even the word for how Joe is. I just wish he would be treated better in TNA. If you have only seen Joe in TNA, you have no idea how great he can be.

- CM Punk
One of my favorite wrestlers for the past few years. Who would've thought, watching the Summer of Punk, that he would be ECW, World Heavyweight, Tag Team, and now Intercontinental Champion all within a span of just over two years. He's had an incredibly decorated WWE career. Sure, there's been some booking blunders, but what can ya do?
- Scott Hall
A shame. Hall was truly talented, and I've loved everything I've seen of Razor Ramon and his AWA work. Unfortunately personal demons caught up to him, but if they hadn't, I'd be inclined to think he'd still be a star in some capacity.
- Tajiri
Always been a huge fan of the guy. I thought he was actually used pretty well in the WWE, between the whole Regal deal, and eventually the Yakuza mob boss angle with Sakoda and Akio. I'd love to see him in the States again, and I think the most realistic option would be ROH. I suppose it's just a matter of if he'd want to come over again.
- Regal or Finlay?
I've always prefered Regal. Finlay was awesome as a badass, but now I find him near unwatchable. That's about it.
- Rob Feinstein
Whatever. Nothing was ever proved. If the accusations were true, then he deserves to rot, if not, whatever.
- Jim Cornette
One of the best managers ever. He seems like he may be a bit looney now, but young Cornette managing the Midnight Express should be necessary to watch for anyone getting into the business as a manager. Second best ever, behind Heenan.
- CHIKARA
I think pretty much everyone knows my views. I feel it's the best wrestling in the United States today.
- Low Ki
Been a huge fan of Ki since first seeing him, in I believe it was Nashville-era TNA. I find him to be a really entertaining worker, and I'm glad the WWE signed him. Hopefully he has a decent career there.
- Stiffness
There's a time and a place. You see these no-name indy dudes going out there and doing headdrops and stiff chops, and there's no point.
- Samoa Joe
A shell of his former self. I used to love Joe, and now I can hardly watch him. Surely that's somewhat because of TNA, but still. He's much slower than he once was.
Steve, I know I didn't get around to replying in the first two eh..editions of this thread, but lemme tell ya man, I love it. Great idea.

- CM Punk -
Great as an indy wrestler, but dosen't have a whole lot to offer to the big league, and the big league has even less to offer to him, indytopia is where he belongs. Great character, even though I know it's not a gimmick.
- Scott Hall
Helped revolutionise wrestling, for better or worse in 1996, now he's had problems which is a shame. Plays the cool guy really well.
- Tajiri
He was great, shame he went off the map, he's only young still. I wonder if he really dosen't speak much English or not, alot of the boys don't seem to know.
- Regal or Finlay?
Difficult one that, Finlay made more of a name for himself in the British golden era, winning titles and that, Regal was still very young & innexperienced when ITV wrestling halted, but they've both proved themselves in the States despite toning down there British style, I don't know! I'll go with Regal for patriotic reasons...
- Rob Feinstein
The best interviewer out there, really one the only interviewers out there worth his salt, along with Highspots, but RF Vids is a proper interviewing product. Shame alot of people don't seem to like him because of the apparent cyber entrapment stuff, but he seems like a nice guy.
- Jim Cornette
A bit f*ckin bonkers, shouts too much, but we love him for it! True wrestling genius, will always be remembered for sure, someone worth listening too/reading about. Of course one of the greatest managers of all time...from a time when managers were great.
- CHIKARA
Never really seen it, I don't think.
- Low Ki
Bit of a temper on him, believes in his gimmick alot they say, abit like a young Tazz (Taz) but a fine worker, if not abit stiff..
- Stiffness
Hmmm, not really nescessary I don't think, yes nescessary to an extentof course it depends what you mean, you have to be a bit stiff, can't be doing with this feet stomping/barely touching nonsense, it has to look real, i'm in the middle on this one...
- Samoa Joe
Erm, too stiff, lol, not to mention his own biggest fan, wildly overrated by the IWC, no, I don't really get him, I mean I know he's supposed to be kick ass, but he dosen't deserve the acclaim he gets. Can be very sloppy and unsafe to work with too.
- CM Punk
Been a fan of his since 2003. I think he is a far better heel than he is a babyface. If he were to be that gimmick in WWE, i strongly believe he would be one of the top heels in the WWE. He is a sloppy worker, thought.
- Scott Hall
He has his demons, just like everyone else. I believe he is one of the best wrestlers to have never held a top promotions, heavyweight championship. His ladder matches with HBK were great matches.
- Tajiri
His ECW is some great stuff to watch. Not a fan of his WWE run.
- Regal or Finlay?
I'm a Regal mark. You want to see a stiff match, watch their WCW Uncensored 1996 match.
- Rob Feinstein
Where is the proof with this guy? He has a bad reputation because people heard something and ran with it. IF it happened, then thats messed up. But, for all we know, it didnt. Until i get a confession or hard evidence, he is innocent. - Jim Cornette
One of the best managers ever. A great talker.
- CHIKARA
Honestly, i have never seen a show.
- Low Ki
His intensity is awesome, is one of the best wrestlers in the world today. I really hope WWE doesnt mess up with him.
- Stiffness
It adds to the matches. You look at UFC, thats the new thing to watch. Stiffness will help wrestling in general to keep up. Why watch something that you see people stomping on the ground to make the sound effect when you can watch people legit each other? This could hurt WWE.
- Samoa Joe
His ROH stuff is gold. When he first came to TNA in 2005 he was booked great. This new gimmick he has is something i don't like. He and AJ Styles are the future of that company. Excellent worker.
- CM Punk
Great indy worker, dissapointing in the wwe. Always has been more of a promo guy, and he's not allowed to show it. I was tempted to say he only delivers matches that are character/story-driven, but then I remember the matches with Joe, Rave and the Briscoes. Hasn't adjusted to the wwe at all, his KENTA-lite moveset feels too IWC-friendly.
- Scott Hall
The pictures of him fat and out of shape were more entertaining than any of his matches.
- Tajiri
Great worker, probably the best Japanese talent to appear in a mainstream US company. Rarely failed to deliver a good match, and after watching some of his early work it's clear even as a rookie he was a natural. Shame he'll never come back.
- Regal or Finlay?
I need to see more Finlay pre-wwe, but I'm leaning more towards him. More charisma than Regal, and I can't recall Regal ever doing anything as good as Finlay's match with Benoit.
- Rob Feinstein
Peice of shit, though he could be used as the ultimate cheap heat tool. Would make me lol.
- Jim Cornette
Awesome promo cutter and a great manager. Need to see more of Heenan because I'd probably say Jim was better. His border-line racist stuff is GOLD.
- CHIKARA
Not really the company to turn to for in-ring quality, though they are alot of fun. Some stuff is too gimmick and too wannabe, but generally they produce a very enjoyable product overall. Booking may be the best in the US right now.
- Low Ki
Great wrestler. Who needs charisma when you can be intense as fuck? Good on the mat, good striker, good aerial stuff, etc Probably the go-to guy for early ROH stuff. Even his TNA work was good, Japan work was mixed but mostly good. Hope he doesn't get buried in the 'E, looking forward to him stiffing guys like Edge. Check out his BOLA match with Hero, best Hero match in, like, a year+.
- Stiffness
Definetly a positive. Any effort to add authenticity to a match gets a big thumbs up from me, I hate seeing guys try and sell obviously weak strikes.
- Samoa Joe
Talk about falling a long way. 2004-05 he could very well have been the best in the world and was amazing in every aspect of wrestling, these days I think he'd fail to be in the top 100 and is sluggish and kinda boring. Being in TNA hasn't done him any favours though his work outside there has also been utter crap.

CM Punk
Well I can't say I have watched as much of his ROH work as others, but I have seen at least 30-40 matches, along with a ton of his promos, and he was pretty phenomenal. One of the best heels I have seen and an amazing wrestler. His matches with Joe were some of the best I have seen. I still enjoy him to an extent, but he is really dull as hell in WWE and hasn't really adapted to the WWE style too well. Still waiting for great matches, although he has no doubt been hampered by booking. Bit of both I'd say, bad booking but also a failure to adapt and rise above mediocrity.
Scott Hall
Wasn't watching in his prime, but I enjoy watching old Razor Ramon matches. Haven't really cared for him while I've been watching wrestling, but I hope he gets his life in order.
Tajiri
He was very entertaining back in the good old days of WWE. I loved the green mist and all the cool stiff kicks he used to do. Not seen him outside of that WWE run, but I imagine he is better.
Regal or Finlay?
Finaly is great but I prefer Regal, mainly because of his character. I enjoy both men in the ring but Regal has great mic skills and has always entertained me, whereas Finlay is just that tough irish guy. Kinda one dimensional.
Rob Feinstein
Don't know anything about him, sorry. I only know about the pedo stuff...and I don't really need to give thoughts on that, do I?
Jim Cornette
Well in ROH and TNA when I have seen him he has been entertaining. I like him as the face authority figure who is kinda crazy but always does the right thing.
CHIKARA
Not seen it so I can't really judge, but it seems too gimmick-ridden to me and I am not too high on indys compared to others anyway.
Low Ki
Only seen him in TNA and a few matches in ROH. I love him. Great wrestler, hugely entertaining to watch, love his stiff style. Hopefully he makes it in WWE but I would say the odds are against him due to his style and lack of charisma.
Stiffness
Fun but not essential. Essentially, wrestling is acting, and while it is always a plus when matches are more realistic, it isn't really worth beating the hell out of each other for the sake of realism. As long as weak shots don't look too bad, I don't mind. I always think wrestlers should actually make contact with their rights and lefts though, even if they just lightly slap their opponent. Otherwise you get embarassing moments like Shane's ''punches'' to Orton the other week.
Samoa Joe
Seen a lot of his ROH stuff and also his TNA stuff from around 2005, and he used to be a truly phenomenal wrestler. Such agility for a man of his size, and I loved his ruthless intensity. I still enjoy him and personally enjoy his promos, but he has fallen a long way as previously stated. In his defence, he was facing some bad wrestlers during his title reign, but he has definitely deteriorated in the ring and is pretty sluggish now compared to his glory days a few years ago, when speed and agility were two of his main strengths.
