conflict within ROH

It is a tumultuous time for just about everyone on the ROH roster. Everyone is faced with some kind of internal or external conflict. Now we will see exactly who can handle the pressure and who will falter in the face of conflict. Here is what is on everyone's plate:

-ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness: He is at conflict with the ROH fans. Now over six months into his ROH World Title reign, McGuinness is conflicted as to what his legacy as champion will be.

-Claudio Castagnoli: McGuinness' words hit Castagnoli hard. Is he just the "hey guy" or will he put all his tools together and realize his potential as World Championship material?

-ROH World Tag Team Champion Jay Briscoe: He must now face an immediate future without his brother, Mark, as he tries to gain revenge on The Age Of The Fall and maintain his grip on the cherished ROH World Tag Team Titles.

-Mark Briscoe: He must now face surgery. Not only that, but he has lost the thing he loves more than anything for the next 3-6 months- wrestling.

-FIP World Heavyweight Champion Roderick Strong: He must prove his leadership skills as No Remorse Corps has to regroup after Davey Richards & Rocky Romero lost the ROH World Tag team Titles. His feud against Erick Stevens is hotter than ever and he continues to try to raise the prestige of the FIP Title. Not only that, but super agent Larry Sweeney is still pushing to buy out the NRC.

-Davey Richards & Rocky Romero: Strong's NRC stablemates must rebound from losing the ROH World Tag Team Titles.

-The Age Of The Fall: Their conflicts are many- Austin Aries, Lacey, The Briscoes and all of society. Watch the latest ROH Video Wire for free at Ring of Honor Video to see just how conflicted Jimmy Jacobs is right now.

-Austin Aries: He might have battled frustration after not winning the ROH World Title, but now he has the girl and a major conflict with The Age Of The Fall.

-Lacey: She seems to be in the middle of a messy breakup with Jimmy Jacobs.

-Erick Stevens: Roderick Strong has stolen the FIP World Heavyweight title from him, shaved his trademark mohawk and busted him open on numerous occasions. Stevens is a very conflicted man and it is all because of Roderick Strong.

-Kevin Steen & El Generico: Will they ever win the ROH World Tag Team Titles?

-SHIMMER Champion Sara Del Rey: She finds herself at odds with her super agent Larry Sweeney and has once again disappeared from ROH.

-Delirious: He has been a thorn in the sides of both Sweet & Sour Inc. and The Age Of The Fall. However, for the first time in his life is he feeling love?

-Brent Albright: He hasn't seemed too happy since Adam Pearce dissolved The Hangmen Three into Sweet & Sour Inc.

-Sweet & Sour Inc: They seem to be the ones causing conflict to everyone around them.

-Bobby Dempsey: How long can he let himself be treated this way?

-Ruckus: He is torn between his two factions in different promotions. Both of them are telling him he can't run in two different crews.

Conflict is everywhere in ROH. The pressure is building. Now everyone will see exactly what they are made of when they battle their own personal conflict.

all i can say is this summer in ROH is going to be awsome let the conflict continue.

After his match with Aries at Rising Above the fans should be loving everything he's doing.

I am now catching up on my ROH and i'm upto Final Battle 07 so i'm getting there

ya true true Mikk, He thinks hes put hes body on the line in some brutal matches ( which he has ) and all he gets is boo's and a nickname of Nigel McLariet... lol

I'm really hoping Claudio does defeat McGuinness though, ROH needs a champion like Claudio!

You really think ? i think hes a okay wrestler thats about it. he reminds me of Colt Cabana with hes comic wrestling and overness with the fans, and if Cabana never got the belt i dnt think Double C should. Jimmy Jacobs for the next champ !!

I think it is about time there was a little light heartedness with the champion and Claudio would be a perfect fit.

I think it was wrong they never gave Colt the belt and i believe now Claudio is having this chance, it needs to be turned into a reign for Double C.

If your over with the fans then it shouldn't matter what kind of gimmick you have, you don't always need a serious champion and its good to have someone like Claudio at the top of the pile.

i dnt think a babyface champion works in ROH. look at McGuinness he was face when he won the belt it didnt work. Bryan Danilson was trying to be heel and was liked when he turned babyface people wanted McGuinness to win the belt. Punk was a heel champion. Aries aswell. Samoa Joe was mix and Morishima the same. I would like to see a change but if a wrestler thats over with the fans deserves to be champion id give it back to Aries.

You know i dont watch ROH regularly but if Roderick Strong is still improving i'd like to see him get a run with the title.
