Detailed PWX Results, Teddy vs Corino match result changed

PWX have finally posted some more detailed results on there first show.

----------------------------------
FULL RESULTS FOR PWX DEBUT SHOW "LIGHTING THE FUSE"

The show started off with a bang as Christopher Daniels defeated Jay Lethal in a match that set the tone for the evening in an explosive opening contest. These two proved why they are two of the best technical and exciting wrestlers in the world. The second match up was a high flying spectacle as the SAT & CA Elliott defeated Sonjay Dutt & Ruckus & Luke Hawx (a/k/a Alter Boy Luke) when the SAT hit Sonjay with The Spanish Fly. This match might have had the best crowd reaction as every man in the ring hit off-the-chart moves. Ruckus had an opportunity to save Sonjay from the SAT, but decided not to help the Playah from the Himalaya. After the match Ruckus hit a Blue Blazer/Owen Hart-style moonsault that showed his allegiance to Teddy Hart.

Steve Corino came out with Jack Victory and shot a promo ripping into Teddy Hart. Corino stated Hart had no showed the event fearing an old fashioned beat down at the hands of the true King of Old School. Ruckus came out to defend Teddy's name but was quickly overwhelmed by Corino and Victory. Teddy Hart then came in through the front door, suitcase in hand, and had an intense stare down with Corino until Atlas security had to separated the two.

Claudio Castagnoli defeated Delirious in a scientific showdown in what many claimed was the best technical match on the show. PWX felt these two indy superstars were the perfect candidates for the company's exclusive MYSTERY MATCH concept.

Team CHIKARA and Mike Quackenbush had an entertaining six man lucha libre-style tag team battle. PWX would like to thank Mike and his students for allowing PWX to use the Alhambra facilities on a Wednesday night. Check out the DVD release for the most unique and entertaining finish on the indy scene today.

Team 3-D beat Abyss and Rhino when Rhino accidentally Gored Abyss through a table. This was a unique showdown as Rhino and Abyss have had major issues against each other. Bubba Dudley's in-ring promo before the match might have been the best delivered in years. The fans really enjoyed the promo and the nostalgic ECW-style match. Team 3-D also called AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels "disrespectful" for not accepting Team 3-D's original challenge to a match. PWX expects these four men to eventually come to blows.

Chris Hero defeated Arik Cannon in a surprise showdown. Nicky Benz came out as a suitable replacement for the no-showing Davey Richards. This led to an irate Arik Cannon destroying Benz as Cannon said he is the "ONLY" replacement to go against Hero. Many fans were saying afterward this was the best match of the night as well. Arik Cannon got over huge with the Philly crowd.

Ian Rotten & Amy Lee defeated Mana & Mickie Knuckles in a hardcore mixed tag bloodbath. Ian & Mickie's exchanges in the ring were incredible as this was the hardest hitting male-female exchange anyone in the business had ever seen. All four participants bled all over the place and are demanding a rematch that they promise will top this epic encounter.

AJ Styles defeated Homicide in a strong style encounter. Homicide seemed like the Homicide of old as his aggressive style was apparent against AJ. After the match AJ & Daniels said they would meet Team 3-D anytime in the future. Stay tuned to PWXplosion.com for more on this developing story.

Steve Corino and Teddy Hart capped the show in what is now a no-contest after further review by PWX officials. These two men obviously didn't cooperate as this is a showdown stemming from their confrontation at the WWE Funkin' Dojo over eight years ago. Corino slapped Teddy so hard that Hart bled from the mouth. Teddy actually spit blood in Corino's face which led to Corino using a fork to stab Teddy in the head. Teddy bled buckets and his associate Ruckus made the save. Jack Victory also got involved and all hell broke loose. Corino hooked Teddy in a Dragon Clutch and referee Mike Kehner called for the finish. Hart is yelling foul as Kehner is Corino's best friend outside the ring and Hart proclaims he didn't quit. Teddy then challenged Corino to a fight in the parking lot, which lead to another pull apart brawl. Fans were solidly behind Teddy as he was livid, throwing chairs at the glass doors of the New Alhambra. Teddy was irate at PWX officials with the belief that this was a receipt stemming from an incident with a PWX official that took place three years ago. PWX is reviewing the footage, so as of now there is not an official decision on the finish, and the company is concerned about booking a return between these two for obvious reasons.
----------------------------------

Well there you have it, Teddy got screwed over by an official who was in with Corino, quite a poor way to finish the match seeing as it was built up to be so huge. Glad to see PWX reversed their original decision of making Corino the victor and labeling the finish a "no-contest", Teddy was not once made to submit or was pinned. But this obviously will just carry through into another match between these two in the future just adding more to there already intense feud. The finish was a bit disappointing, but Ill prolly still buy the DVD just because it was Teddy's and Corino's first meeting.
