Keep in mind the Hogan "Legdrop" was considered pretty unstoppable back in the day. With that said, use common sense to determine which is the best finisher of all time. For me it was the Stone Cold Stunner. I realize its not the most technical finisher ever, but I loved in Austins later days how he could bust it out of nowhere and bam........the match was over. I am also a big fan of HHH's Pedigree, even though it is a little homo-erotic. Your turn.

Likewise for the SAT's Spanish Fly. My personal favourites are: In the impact category: The Diamond Cutter. He could pull that shit from a billion different positions. In the submission category: The Sharpshooter, cause it's the fucking business.

I hate most of the "hit from nowhere" style finishes, but make an exception for HBK's Sweet Chin Music (especially when he just pulls it out of nowhere....not so much when he takes ages striking up the band) and also Stone Cold's Stunner. Special mention also for TnA's Petey Williams and his version of the Canadian Destroyer(?), which is just some piece of work the first few times you see that. But my own faves are really the submission finishes, especially those that have given so many great Mania moments, Benoits crossface, Hart's sharpshooter, Angle ankle lock and Jericho's Walls of Jericho were my particular favourites.

For me i'm going to break it down a little and do old school & new school. Old School: The Frankensteiner: Obviously now a days we see this move in every high flying match but back then it was a fairly unused move and Scott pulled it off brilliantly. The Tombstone: No one got up from that, not even Hogan! Doomsday Device: Quality from the LOD New School: GTS: Nasty looking knee to the face The Blackhole Slam: Looks cool but even better with a really light opponent Canadian Destroyer: Not much to say about this.

I'm going to have to say Nash's powerbomb, or takers last ride. Last edited by )85(; 06-08-2007 at 06:07 AM.

And possibly the RKO (although its probably more because of the little touches Orton added to the diamond cutter than the move itself)
