Worst Finishing Moves

Umaga has the absolute worst finisher in the history of wrestling. A thumb to the throat? Are you serious? When he was in 3 Minute Warning didn't he do some top rope moves, or was that Rosey? Anyway, the heart punch is more convincing.

I was watching TNA and Jeff Jarrett's "Stroke" is a horrible move, as well as Monty Brown's "POUNCE". I know that a 6 year old could think of something better than that.

Aren't finishing moves supposed to WOW you and make you think that would really put somebody out? I will state this right now: I will let anybody put a thumb to my throat. It may hurt a little bit, but I know I wouldn't fall into a heap on the ground.

Although Umaga's Samoan Spike finisher fits in with his gimmick, it truly is a horrible way for a match to end. When you see some moves that won't get three counts and then you see Umaga "decapitating" people with a thumb to the throat it is rather inconsistent.

Another obvious nominee is The Worm as it just shouldn't finish people, although nowadays we rarely ever see it connect anyway. It again shows inconsistency in my opinion.

Finally Nitro appears to be planning to use Standing Shooting Press as a finisher now and it just doesn't look that effective in my opinion. It wouldn't be bad as a secondary finisher perhaps, but I just don't think it should be getting three counts.

hogans leg drop A LEG DROP, peoples elbow AN ELBOW

and recently ive started hating on the chokeslam its so bleh and you just land on your back

I actually forgot about "The Leg Drop" and "The People's Elbow"...But I would agree with them being terrible finishing moves too...Just show's inconsistency as some wouldn't get a one count for a leg drop/elbow but Hogan/Rock win matches with them...Respectively.

we did a vote on this before and the worm won hands down (or lost im not sure which is correct.) i voted for and still believe the 619 is the worst. (i dont count umagas as a finisher cause its so bad)

Samoan spike, is good, a thumb to the throat, done incorrectly, can kill instantly, hit the main arterey, your dead.
