Remembering 9/11
Today is obviously the 7th anniversary of the horrific day. I know mostly everyone knows where they were when it happened, and when they found out. I was in 5th grade at the time, and our school didn't tell us. We had to find out by our parents when we got home. I do remember another teaching coming into our class though and pulled my teacher out. She was in the hall for about 5 minutes, and she came back in the room all teary eyed. Of course we all knew something was wrong, but nobody thought it was anything that serious.

So, use this thread for anything revolving around the strikes, talk about where you were when it happened...etc.

I was at home, when all the channels stopped and went to the news. It was during Pokemon as well. I was sad, because at the time, I didn't care what happened in America. I was sad cos the news had interrupted my cartoons!

I just got back from school and my parents were sitting watching it on the news. I just saw the towers burning and didn't know what the fuck was going on. Almost seemed like the end of the world.

I was in school... It was second period and when the teacher heard it happened, he turned on the TV in the classroom and canceled the test we were writing...

Didn't really care about it then... Still don't now... There are too many tragedies to care about one above them all...

I see your point but for me that one stands out ahead of the others. An attack on the free world which basically seemed to put us all at risk.
