Computer problem. please help Diamond out

SO check this out. I have a wireless keyboard and remote for my PC at home. Today my baby was messing with the wireless mouse and now the thing doesnt work.

But here is the weird part. The wireless keyboard still works fine, and when I plug a regular mouse in it says "new hardware found" CLICK HERE to install. But I dont have a freaking mouse to click the button. I have also tried tabbing over but that particular screen doesnt allow it.

Am I screwed. Did my USB ports fry out? WHAT....THE.....FUCK?

Seriously, I love my kids to death, but for some reason they want to play with the most expensive shit.

Also, I am at work now, thus allowing me to post.

DD's Favorite of All Times

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

I am assuming the new mouse is USB.

Try plugging in a PS/2 mouse to try it.

Yer. If your daughter somehow knocked it out of the USB port it'll have to re-install the driver too, which it seems like it "wants" to do. Normally XP will be able to at least find some sort of default driver for it. Make sure it's firmly into the USB port, and wait for the new hardware device spiel to pop up. Then reboot.

Tell Terry the results.

I won't be back until Monday though.
