I was fired!!!

Bastards. I don't want to talk about it. Oh, okay yes I do. Well it happened last Monday so I'm over it now. I moved to a new job six months ago and then at the end of the six months probation they've decided to go in a "different direction" and centralise my company up to Birmingham!!

It's no biggie I suppose, since I'm already doing some work "cash in hand" for a friend and have at least seven interviews all set up and two done. I've also been sensible and have a fair whack of cash in the vaults, so it could be a ton worse.

It's just this is the first time this ever happened to me (honest my darling, this has never happened to me before!).

To be honest, it's quite a shock and, even though it was nothing to do with me personally, it's quite the knock to the personal pride thingy (if I had any).

Anyone with similar sackings in their murky past. I know all about the mucky videos you performed in, I just want to know about sackings at this stage.

I have a problem with people calling me non-stop about jobs. It really tempts a man to switch it up every so often, but I really do actually like where I am. Not every job immediately names you an officer and boasts a 400% growth rate in the past 2 years.

But for example, right now I can pick between Los Angeles, CA, Houston, TX or Clifton Park, NY for a job. Out of those three offerings though, the one in Houston, or Los Angeles would be the only ones I'd consider.

Clifton Park? That's strange, considering what the other two choices are.

Clifton Park is a small town near Albany (which isnt exactly a giant metropolis itself). I have a good friend from college who's from there originally.

However, it's near Saratoga Springs, which is an awesome town.

haha yeah, when I asked about the town they were like, "let's put it this way, there's probably more cows than people around here."

It's a pretty big internet startup that's based out of there though.
