The last girl I dated was a celiac, which meant she was allergic to gluten, which meant going out to dinner was impossible. All of our three "dates" consisted of going to each other's houses, drinking wine, talking awkwardly about nothing for a couple hours (we had little in common), and then sleeping together.
It was actually a nice little fake relationship, except she wanted it to be real one (God knows why, we had the worst fucking conversations).
Pfft, the one I was almost on last month was sabotaged by a bunch of harpies at work. Even then it was pretty much a pseudo-date, going out with a coworker that was leaving for college.
So that was the almost-date that I almost had. You guys and your three date sex shenanigans...

My current gf is a Celiac...and actually these new resturants (owned by the same owners) have opened up across RI and they have a Gluten Free menu. So we can actually go out and eat, for a change.

I went out with this guy and we had a pretty standard date of cinema. He was sooo nervous that he went from extreme to extreme - he either gibbered non stop about his job or he went silent. Neither helped to convince me that he was someone I really wanted to see again. So I declined his next offer, then he became a stalker. Fun, eh?

Date, what's that? I'd have to say October 26, 1996, before my first child was born. Since then, it's been all about my children and I pretty much do without. I tease my wife all the time about going out on a date, but of course, what baby sitter wants to watch 4 children. Every blue moon one of us will go out without the other for a night out, but that hardly qualifies as a date.
