10.) Scandal rocks the whitehouse - possibly involving the Clinton's and their charitable organization. At least one member of Barack's senior cabinet will be forced to step down.
9.) Bay of Pigs style Invasion - There will be an invasion of another country this year - possibly Pakistan, Lebanon, maybe even Iran.
8.) Southern dissent will rise, and talks of a secession will become prominent.
7.) A massive bankruptcy will force wall street to tuck their heads into their shell. DOW drops to below 7000.
6.) Gas prices rise back up to the $3.00 mark during the summer months.
5.) Talks of Google having monopolistic practices heat up, causing an investigation to be launched.
4.) As the value of our dollar continues to decrease, ordinary citizens become more accepting of a North American Union.
3.) Not only will people like the thought of a North American Union on the monetary front, people will also like the fact that Canada has free health care, and start talking about how we the United States can jump start it's health care program by piggy backing on Canada's.
2.) SIGs will hit Obama hard, calling into question his smoking, stance on religion, and most importantly, climate change.
1.) People will start saying, "I miss when Bush was in office."

I don't want a Universal North American currency for one.
