Hmmm...how will this impact the divisions in the NFL? Will we still have the BCS? If there's 5 different American "countries" can we legitimately call the Phillies WORLD Champions then?
It's pretty safe to say that if this happens, football will be the least of our worries... not that I think it will happen. This is just sensationalist garbage that suddenly grabbed the attention of the Kremlin.

You can't legitimately call them world champions now. America isnt the world so i doubt it would be much of an issue in the highly unlikely event anything like this happens.
