lulz x2
It's at times like this in which I'm torn on whether or not this forum should have an age minimum. It would definitely get rid of 90% of the stupid shit that gets posted, but on the other hand, it might also deprive me of some lulz.
oh, and SS, plenty of people here understand your dry sarcasm, as most of our IQs are larger than our shoe size, but when you get into these circular, logic-free debates with sheeple like this, you're bound to run into these cognitive roadblocks where the semantic meanings of your words, and the point behind them, just don't get through.
ON TOPIC:
I celebrate Christmas, yet I'm still uneasy when someone at a gas station, or whatever, tells me merry Christmas. You've got to look at this from a wide perspective; what if I was Jewish? What if I was Muslim? What if I was a Satanist? I think the fairest policy that public companies can take is to either say "happy holidays", or nothing. It's not even really to necessarily
respect every religion, it is to not make yourself look like a jackass to someone who doesn't celebrate the holiday you're speaking of. I've heard people try to say that saying merry Christmas is just like saying "have a good December 25th", but that's clearly not true.
Really tho, some of these Christians out there who get literally offended and visibly upset when someone says "happy holidays" really need to remove their heads from their asses. They act as if their Christmas won't be merry unless everyone they see wishes them a merry one.
