You don't need to rub your negative attitude on everyone else, it will just make the world a less pleasurable place to live, I know you might come up with some rude, sarcastic, disrespectful, mocking, or clever comment , so why don't you just listen to people instead of trying to think of something clever to say, seriously nobody wants your negative attitude especially me, so if you could please stop I would appreciate it, oh yeah, everyone have a Merry Christmas.. Also, when the world is made out of Rainbows, Unicorns, and lillies, like you seem to think it is, I'll heed your advice. Until then, you're disregard of the actual thread topic is what hinders you. 2. I wasn't giving you advice I was asking you to stop what your doing, because nobody wants it here, or anywhere so you can just take it somewhere else because neither I or anyone else will stand for it, if you keep up with this negative attitude it will get you absoloutly nowhere.

I respect peoples outlook, and what they believe in. If someone is Muslim, Catholic, Jewish, whatever, they have the right to believe what they want to believe in. So if someone doesn't believe in saying "Merry Christmas", so be it, they can say whatever they want. But when someone who believes in it and says it, I don't see how they have the right to say that the person who said "Merry Christmas" shouldn't say that and should say happy holidays. Isn't that kind of enforcing the persons religion upon the other person? I think so.
Obviously if someone was saying it to simply offend the other person, then it's wrong, but when people just say it to on another and some other person who doesn't believe in it says "I'm offended, please say it in another manor", then that kind of pisses me off, because the world is filled with so many different cultures and people, so who really has the right to tell another how to say what they believe in, ex; Merry Christmas.

6. Why does no one understand dry sarcasm? The point behind everything was that people get offended by Merry Christmas, because they don't celebrate it, when in all reality Merry Christmas is just a universal greeting of good tidings and joy. Not everything is 100% serious like you seemingly think. My point was that if Merry Christmas is now deemed "offensive" we should just be outright offensive since good tidings are no longer wanted.
7. People need to start earning respect, and not hoping it falls into their lap
8. When they earn it, I treat them with it. Nothing in life is free. My respect isn't either.

I fully understand about the whole Merry Christmas Vs. Happy holidays thing, Im still going to continue saying Merry Christmas, I couldn't care less what people of other religions think of it, it is a christian holiday therefore other religions have no right in getting butthurt over a simple gesture.

Yeah, exactly. If I hear in a conversation that someone wishes someone a happy (whatever they say) and I don't believe in it, I don't care, and I defiantly don't care enough to call them out on it and make a big scene like some people do. They are basically still wishing you to have happy times, just their way of saying it.
