Generally just with a hi/hello etc depending on guys/girls. But the people from work are incredibly touchy feely. They do everything with a hug.....everything. It was disturbing at first but now Im used to it, Im not as into it as some people but what the hell, I like hugging.
If I met Slimdust, it'd be a kiss firmly on the lips.
As for me, most of my female friends I give a hug. Othertimes, if there's a bunch of us meeting at once, it's a quick hello as I don't feel like hugging 10 people in succession.
Guy friends it's a simple handshake for me. My black friends insist on the shake/shoulder bump thing though. I don't mind. It's me trying to be cool.

The worst for me is when a girl knows I am uncomfortable with hugging. At least with friends its weird to me. So sometimes if a girl knows that she'll fuck with me, and invade my space. I don't mind it, but it just turns into sort of a joke.
It also depends on if ive been drinking or not. If I have, then everyone will get a huge hug and told how much i love them, and thats its been ages since ive seen them
