Divorce?

Does anyone here have any experience of it? Parents divorced? Siblings divorced? Are you divorced?

Did it mess up anyones life? Did it have quite the opposite effect?

And in answer to your obvious question, no this doesn't relate to me at all

Yeah, my parents got a divorce when I was younger. It didn't affect me in a negative way because I knew that it would be the end of the arguing and that neither of them was really going anywhere..

I would spend half the week with one parent, other half with the other. It's weird going to two Thanksgiving dinners, having two christmas parties, etc.. but I was able to deal with it. I knew that they all loved me the same on both sides of the family.

I guess I've turned out ok.. so, I dunno..

My parents got divorced when I was like 12. It was a good thing.

I lived with my dad. My mom was always kind of unstable. That's nice of me, isn't it?

My parents came close to divorcing a few years ago but decided to stay together.

I've said it on JVN, but I don't like my father. If it wasn't for the fact that he gives me $80 a month for doing nothing, I would even talk to him. I hate him and he never does anything to help me or my sister out when it comes to school, he already told me that he won't help me pay for college and never payed for anything in school(i.e. school pictures and field trips).

My parents divorced, like many here it was def for the better. My dad has a wandering eye and he follows it. His mistress/now girlfriend is always accusing him of cheating and I just laugh at the irony.
Sometimes I worry I'll turn into my dad.

My parents divorced when I was really young, and I aint seen my mum since Xmas 1988, it proberly affected me slightly but with it all happening while I was so young I dont think it had a big effect on me

My Grandparents divorced before I was born, when my Dad was a kid. I didn't know that the man my Grandma is with now wasn't my real Grandpa until last year. That was a bit of a shock.
