It's not even their political stances that I'm against, it's the fallacious reasoning and fraudulent logic that they use. All this guilt tripping and attacking of the person making the opposing argument instead of the argument itself is a clear fallacy. If you don't have an honest rebuttal to anything, than just gtfo. This is the debate forum. Shit like "I know you're smarter than this" doesn't help move the discussion along one bit.
Well, first.. I love you too, Terry.. but you would have to agree that a lot of people in the corporate world are grossly underpaid for what they contribute. If the top aren't going to distribute a fair amount of their profits, what else can be done about that? It's a fair question imo..
You're probably right in thinking that the government should stay out of it.. but the fact is, people need money. The pay scales aren't supporting the increase in... EVERYTHING.. I mean, jesus christ.. a gallon of milk is like five dollars now.. where does it end? And how are people going to afford to pay it?
