Yeah, it's people like him, and God shouters in the street, that give the Christian faith a bad reputation. They don't seem to understand that preaching at people will never attract the general consensus. Very few people would turn to a religion becaue they were scared of going to hell.

I agree with the overall sentiment, everyone has the right to believe what they want to believe. However, I also think people are being pretty hard on farzy, and other so-called "preachers". If you had the answer, wouldn't you want to share it with other people? He's probably not a bad person, perhaps just deluded.

My point exactly. Don't get me wrong, this guy would give u shirt off his back, but what annoys me, is precisely people like this, who persistently force their views on others, thinking that their views are correct, and all ohters' are wrong , and are going to hell and that it is up to him to save those people.
He even said so on MSN the next day, that I have always been so nice to him and how he wanted to repay me by "showing me the light" (now thats being deluded if u ask me lol)

Crash, your point is moot. The fact is to say that anyone has the "answer" would be massively arrogant. I mean to have the answer you need to know the question, and clearly this guy doesn't know his ass from his elbow.
A friend of mine is a powerfully devoted Christian. Back in college she had some wild days, and was heavily into drugs thanks to an ex. She still uses occassionally in fact. He Dad is a reverend and when speaking to a mutual friend she professed that he Dad would happily help anyone that came to him asking for it, as long as they were Christian. Our mutual friend replied, asking what if an aethist was in need, would you not help him? She stated that she wouldn't, because "You need to be open to God before he can be open to you". I love this girl, but this view is severly flawed. Did the good samaritan ask the faith of those he helped? No. He helped without question at all.
Organised religion is the most arrogant and harmful thing on the planet in my humble opinion.
