Did you guys go vote?
Who did you vote for?
Who do you like/dislike?
etc etc
Laugh all you want lol but I voted for the Green Party, I know they won't win, but Harper and the Conservatives are a-holes, liberals don't convince me much either, so it came down to NDP or Green.
What about you guys?
Re: Today's federal election (for the Canucks of WC)
I voted Liberal, of course.
I haven't heard the results for the riding I'm currently attending school in, but I know the Conservative from my hometown riding got in for the third term in a row.
Re: Today's federal election (for the Canucks of WC)
Green Party is a wasted vote and just leads to another useless minority government, sadly.
Liberals are who I voted for, I can't trust Harper. I don't really trust The Libs either but they've got some what of a better track record. I'll cry if Harper gets majority, seriously.

Re: Today's federal election (for the Canucks of WC)
What the what? Green didn't get a single effing seat? Booo.
Things have exploded in my riding. In the last election, the Tories barely squeaked by with a win over the Liberals. Thousands of voters from my University vote on campus, yet this year, the Conservative government took away the polling station at our school without telling us. So thousands (the majority of whom wouldn't vote for Harper if our lives depended on it) of students were told we would have to travel off campus, to a place virtually inaccessable by bus, to vote. I have a car, so I made sure I did, but I am the only student I know who was able to do that. And sure enough, the Tories got back in.
Re: Today's federal election (for the Canucks of WC)
I tried to vote on campus but was told I could only do that if I lived on campus. So then they sent me to this church and I went to the wrong church (which was also a voting station) and tried to vote in the wrong riding, before finally being sent back to this other church right near my house to vote. All in all, it took me about two hours on foot.
I voted for the incumbent NDP candidate and she won.
Our electoral system is fucked and Stephen Harper is a pig, but at least I still have Obama.
